I was at the preseason game in Seattle. He was in for about six plays before his injury. While he was in he was everywhere and involved in 3-4 plays.

Yes sir there is enough on this team defensively to get it done. The offense will be fine as long as Dak & Lamb stays healthy. Now Overshown and Diggs will take some time maybe even towards the end of next season but the boys will make it back to the playoffs then their season will start again.
The defense in Dallas is going to be record setting at all levels
I like Zimmer but we don't have as much depth on the d-line as we had before.
Great analysis on Overshown, man. Hopefully he comes back and kicks some ass in his sophomore season. I do hope you do another analysis on Hunter Luepke. He managed to make some splashes during his playing time, but I believe that he could give more to offer in Year Two.

Two picks that I really loved in last year’s draft were Overshown and Junior Fehoko.
I love the Overshown content, but I never ever ever see anything about big Junior. I know he had injury issues, but what’s the outlook for him? Is he healthy? Will he make the team? Will he contribute? In my view Junior was a better prospect than Gholston coming out of college, and we’ve all seen how much Chauncey has contributed to the team.
I’m very optimistic about our defense this year with the influx of dogs that didn’t play a single snap for the Cowboys last year.
Trevon Diggs, Overshown, Kneeland, Marist, Kendricks, and Carson. I also expect Mazi to take a big leap forward after a rookie year that was just…strange. Even Justin Rogers is intriguing.
And when you think about it, the only glaring weakness left on the roster is RB, but I’ll make my final judgement in September when the 53 man roster is finalized.
But anyway, my real question is about Junior. What can we expect?

Super excited to get Overshown back. Along with Zimmer saying that he is getting back to a more traditional 4-3 base scheme. I think Bell gets a lot of hate(not from you but some boys fans) but he was playing about as well as he could have given his size and imho it was more that we were playing him as an undersized Backwr AND playing a big nickle as our base package. So in reality our base defence was pretty much a big dime package.

So disappointed when he got hurt. I wanted the Cowboys to draft him and was hyped by how well he was playing in the preseason. Definitely better for everyone to have realistic expectations since he’s coming off of an ACL. Hopefully he added a little bulk to his frame this past year.
i saw him pursuing more and not anticipating and hitting the gaps and getting tFL, and yes can not disengage so you are getting another version of LVE !!! NO IMPACT ON STOPPING THE RUN CONSISTENLY

I hate ACL injuries for players. Most players don’t become better players and are lucky to be the same level player before injury

Having torn both my ACL (soccer) its a mental thing as well. Those thoughts of "is this going to hold up" kind of thinking can change the way u play. You are more hesitant, and not as trusting. Many people come back too soon as well.

had he played last year he would have been a liability in the run game. he would have got bullied by offensive linemen and that is a fact and undeniable. He was too little to play LB last year. I have hopes for him this year because he has bulked up quite a bit. he should be held to a much higher standard because he did get injured, he better come back way better than he was before he got injured. no excuses not even a torn ACL. I think he will be a quality starter this year but thinking and hoping isn't a plan he has to perform at a high level starting caliber NFL LB. In a way this will be his rookie year but he should twice as good as the best LB drafted this year because he had a full year to study/learn. he should be fully prepared mentally and be able to apply physically on the field this year by game 1. I was not impressed when they drafted him but he did an ok job for a rookie in training camp, I don't buy into the hype that he was phenomenal and would be a plus starter as a rookie because he didn't play a regular season game and we've seen plenty of people wreck training camp and preseason games then completely sh*t the bed during the regular season. we will see but I am optimistic but lets not get carried away about how good he is going to be or allow his injury to be an excuse for not being 100% by training camp and him not wrecking sh*t in training camp. this is the NFL and we are thin at LB so he better bring it and be near as perfect as a starting LB in the can be on day 1 of training camp.
