@@WastrelWay That's what I was not sure about, but I could not find a way for black to triangulate, white has enough squares. I looked at the position on tablebase, and it says it is drawn.
I want to complain a lot about the quality of the match. Ding was just a broken man and Gukesh didn't play 2800+ Elo chess. I wouldn't say this was a horrible match, but it was below average.
Ding essentially lost the match on 2 moves. Qc8 in game 11, and Rf2 in game 14. Granted, with the time situation in game 11, it was far from certain that he would have been able to hold regardless, but game 14 he should definitely have drawn. Also he had the advantage in 3-4 games and decided not the play for win, which is indicative of his psychological problems. Gukesh also had advantage in 2-3 games, but couldn't convert. The overall result is fair, given Ding's form and Gukesh's inexperience at such a match. I should think that for next WC match, the challenger would face a much tougher opponent than current version of Gukesh.
Ben...respectfully...i beg your Pardon. Make more of yourself ! What does that mean ? No Games of Followers, wanting their Doomsdaygames to be presenented ( obviously you are bored and enerved 😂😂😂) and no Games ( e.g. Game 14. which, If you would be willing to do....) should look over more exactly ! I think its pretty gross that Gukesh continued playing in such a drawn position for so long. Win by playing chess not squeezing your opponent like a zit with time.
Exactly the recap we club players needed - thanks!!
I paused the video at 7:43 and did not unpaused it since then, because I was not instructed to do so. What should I do now?
Resign. It's the only move.
Great instructive value from 8:30 onwards
The title is reverse clickbait. This was the most important game of the year.
@11:37 "A terrible blunder from Gukesh"
I always crack up at his jokes... His sense of humour is exceptional...
Greetings from Italy, my 12-year-old daughter Alessia is a huge fan of yours.
Very nice video thanks!
Great teaching from Ben as always!
Go Ben! You are Ben!
+8:52 "The only winning move is to play f3" - Ben Finegold
6:12 Wow! After ke1 only 1 move wins?
I wouldn't find it.
All chess courses should begin with K+P endgames, and the 2 pawns against 1 is required.
Very nice explanation! Is it any different if it is black's turn in the final position? It should be a draw, because white has the opposition, right?
Triangulation is explained elsewhere. How to lose a tempo and win.

"terrible blunder from Gukesh"
amazing. No-one explained that and it is not obvious at all.
Thumbnail says it all
in 1000 elo bullet this was impossible like to win
Definitely the first to see this, go Ben!
Colors reversed means it's the other player's turn to move, means in one or two moves all the theory is different. Chess is hard as Ben usually says..
The thumbnail says game 13 while the title says game 14.
Like and subscribed, not necessarily in that order
and I'm Ben?
Hey! Where's my other 2 minutes and 27 seconds? I want my money back.

Time is and always is a resource that, like material, must be managed. Ding failed to do so
