Torque Wagon, i am putting a 4500 in my 86 k10, which clutch line and slave/master combo did you use? like what year and model did you use to order those ? thx
Follow, going though the same thing. I have a LQ4 out of an 01 2500 that I'm mating to a 05 GM NV4500. I want to use the original k10 master but the internal slave to the 4500
The two support rods that are by the clutch pedal, where did you mount those to? I’m in the middle of swapping mine with the same pedal set and I’m lost to where those go to. Any help would be greatly appreciated
What pédale modèle dis you use? I would like to use a master cylinder for my clutch. I have found a model with a kind of push rod but i dont know if it’ll work.
Did you just use the regular GM hydraulic slave cylinder that would have come with say a SM465, or did you have to retrofit a newer style slave with a longer throw?
I haven’t successfully installed the slave cylinder yet but I got the one suggested by Advance Adapters when I bought my bellhousing (Napa #73117). Mine is actually a dorman brand (#CS37791). I also got the slave cylinder mounting bracket from Advance Adapters (#715535), and will be trying to figure out how to install everything over the next two days.
@@TorqueWagon How did you make out, man? I've just completed the same swap in my dually and found the stock master cylinder didn't have enough volume to push the slave cylinder as far as it needed to go.
I got the slave cylinder mounting kit too: www.advanceadapters.com/products/715535--gm-hydraulic-clutch-linkage-bracket-for-use-with-advance-adapters-nv4500-bellhousings/
Nobody has done any videos on a 6.2 diesel / NV4500 swap. Keep em coming!
Im doing a sm465 from th400 so I hope it’ll be the same way
Looking for a video on a 6.2 diesel as well..
Kenny would be so proud as am I.
Just blew my 4l80 and im planning an nv4500 swap. Nice to see some new videos as they have helped alot!
In the process of my 4l80 delete to the NV4500 and can’t find a clutch bracket assembly 🥺
G56 Cummings swap, I'm using a willwood break pedal and master. Have to plumb a line to a new slave 🤩
do you have the model # on the wilwood? what did you do to the brake pedal?
Nope it's the fire wall mount and using wilwood Master cylinder as well so they fit with a braided 4' line with adapters
Slave cylinder has a bleed screw on top, you'll need line adapters

You look the guy from road 1 on UA-cam are y’all brothers?
Nope. We’re not related as far as I know.
Ok man I didn’t know. I watch a lot of UA-cam and you just looked similar and I’m just curious by nature.

I’m working on it today and tomorrow so we will see if I can get it to work or not.
@@TorqueWagon let me know if you can't and I'll detail more of what I ended up doing. I still need to make adjustments but she's close
Did you use the Advance Adapter bellhousing or the stock GM one?
What bell housing are you running?
I’m using one from Advance Adapters for the 1993-1995 GM NV4500.
TorqueWagon can you send me a link please?
