The Gentleman’s Wager II follows the 2014 launch of the internationally successful first Gentleman’s Wager film from the JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL brand. The film also features cameos from Formula 1 heroes, Mika Häkkinen and McLaren Honda F1 Driver Jenson Button. Oscar-nominated actors Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini lead the cast, which also includes acclaimed Chinese actress Zhao Wei, in the story of a man who proves a little gratitude goes a long way. The launch of The Gentleman’s Wager II film from JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL comes just over a month post the new JOHNNIE WALKER Joy Will Take You Further global campaign. Launched simultaneously in more than 50 countries, the new Keep Walking campaign reached in excess of 350 million consumers in its first weeks and represents the biggest campaign launch in the brand’s history. Globally premiered at an event hosted by Jude and Giancarlo at a stunning villa just outside Rome, where the movie itself was shot, The Gentleman’s Wager II - directed by British director Jake Scott of Ridley Scott Associates, who also shot the first film - tells the story of two men who enter a wager over a priceless vintage car: the stunning Delahaye 135S classic racing car that is not only the “trophy” for the wager but also a Walker heirloom, having been owned by the family since the late 1930s.

Imagine a feature-length film...with this, 'gentleman's wager' theme..with these two fine actors, story-line quality and scenery.
It would be the best movie made in decades.
There is no earthly reason why this lavish and scarcely seen ad should have been made. But it did and it's such an affectionate homage to la dolce vita, to beauty and to friendship among gentleman. Bravo fortissimo!

Giancarlo Giannini (the Italian actor) and Jude Law make an almost perfect pair on acting together . I would say putting all this short ads together would make a cult and original movie.

The whisky doesnt quite hold up but then...
You destroyed the film adding the blisteringly loud soundtrack. Watch the original. Not this.

This is for a whiskey? frolicking laying 'bouls'... and yeah Mr. Depp you refuse your host's offer of a dram, then decide to start working on the motor in your most pristine white linens.... trite over stylised codswallop. Doesn't sell it to me. But the Scots don't know how to spell it, never mind blend it. The Robert Carlyle is much better.
Lei ha anche un contratto con la Spagna che le ha imposto pero' i 3 anni da remoto. Il format non e' a caso perche' ha assunto troppi debiti ed e' gia' in asta. Da ultimo c'era che io sono morta, tanto per cambiare, affogata in mare. Neanche il salvagente a ciambella arancione. E quindi, in quanto morta affogata, spetta a me entrare in gara con lei.
