Why can't Maravel make this into a full animated series? All the good Marvel product always end up short? It's not hard to make good Marvel products, just stick to the resources and excellent plot like this one! They did Blade justice.
For those not in the know, La Magra in the first Blade Film was based on Chthon, that`s why Marcus`s house in The Series was called House of Chthon. In the early days, MARVEL wasn`t sure the more fantastical, magical and supernatural elements of the Comics would be accepted by non-Comic reading audiences so they leaned more into the horror and dark sci-fi elements with only subtle hints of the occult origins of these characters.
The way they showed Blades speed, but in a vampire way was just creative and cool as hell.
