I love this tumbler! Very helpful and impressive... one thing I have yet to figure out is what to use to gem ceremic. I've tried searching for answers but nothing in detail. Thanks for this video 💍♥
Thank you for the kind comment & for watching! Hmm I think for ceramic I would probably use E6000 glue, it’s more of an industrial glue. It’s what I used in my Rhinestone Crocs video. Maybe I’ll make a rhinestone ceramic mug video - thanks for the suggestion!
I’m using this method to stone a pair of heels! Would you recommend using the bottom circumference of the shoe as the anchor row, or the edge of the ‘foot hole’ as the anchor row?
Oh cool! I would probably start at the bottom edge personally but it would depend on the shape of the shoe, wherever you start needs to be the narrower section so that you can space out the stones as you get to the wider section if that makes sense - if you start where it’s wider you won’t have enough room for all those stones in the narrower sections 😊 hope they turn out great!
With this method you can use any size of rhinestone, but you only need to use one size of stone throughout the whole project (as opposed to needing multiple sizes to adjust the spacing) 😊
so i always thought we were to put the honeycomb stones as close together as possible then fill in with smaller stones later…. think i’ve been doing it wrong
Filling with smaller stones is not necessarily wrong! This is just my preferred technique for doing honeycomb on a curved surface 😊 if you do honeycomb on a completely straight tumbler, typically you can put your stones very close together and won’t need any filler stones.
This is one of the better tutorials I've seen! Thank you so much
Love to hear that! Thanks for watching and for your kind words!
The honeycomb method is so satisfying! 👏 That turned out so pretty 😍 Gems just make everything so much better!
Thank you!! I fully agree! ✨ it’s extra satisfying with the glue dots 😍
This was so helpful. Thanks 😉.
I’m so glad to hear that! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, Clara! 💖
I love the tumbler!
Thank you!💖
