If a Russian knocked on my door and asked me to dress in traditional garb and give him a good old sing song, I'd call the police.
Russians don't call the police on such a silly ocasion. Something serious should happen and even then they'll think about it first. In villages and small towns most Russians are very friendly and hospitable.
Steve do lve in the U.S.A.? If so, it would probably be normal for such a reaction, as it would in other less trusting parts of the world, where arms are abundant and where arrogance, anger and intollerance are the norm. Thank goodness that there are still many places on the globe where people are welcoming, proud of their traditions and culture, as well as opelny confident to inviting strangers to their homes to display their heritage and customs.
I hope one day when things get better globally that you can travel and experience something similar, as there is nothing more humbling, and which demonstrates the true nature of mankind than entering a remote village, off the beaten track and being fed by the natives, shown their traditions and accepted like a family member, having never met the people before......it's priceless!!!
@lulua mahalo , I didn't miss the satire, but satire has truth in it. Of course they won't call the police on such a silly request, but Americans do love to call to the authorities, or have their guns ready to demonstrate how tough they are. Wheather its covardice or lack of excitment in life, I dont know. Could be both. I live in rural US and know people's reaction here.

Hi Kimmy, could you please stop lobing missiles over Japan. Thank you!
@@maximusextreme3725 and stop rudely waking up Chris! We need our monthly dose of Chris Broad.
Haha Kim and vova here planing to meet and having cup of coffee.
Kimmy, many people say you are the one and only fat man in Korea.
Well at an almost a million views, I think its fair to say that you have introduced more people to Moksha than any correspondant would have.
Magic!
Please don't call me weird, but I just loved the little babushka that danced for you!
Such a lovely lady.
Please her a kiss on the cheek for me if you see her again, will ya?
weirdo
@@Withcare111 Why you gotta make a wholesome thing sound weird? You're the only one making stuff sound weird here buddy.

@All, okay, now I know!
I just thought that she was a sweet lady that tried to entertain her guest as best she could.
Micke Mike I agree with you! She was so sweet and I’d give her a kiss on the cheek if I could.
I was born in Mordovia and I'm moksha on my mother's side. Thanks for the great video!!
Brilliant Mr Bald....... The Mokshans were fab, the accordion player top draw and his good lady looked beautiful in her attire - ✅

Welldone.👍No Vodka and you still found your courage! Great Video!
An Englishman's journey in Russia, one of the best documentaries on Russia....
I think that woman singing and dancing is my favourite B&B moment so far. She was awesome!
The babushka singer should perform with Buranovskiye Babushki from 2012 Eurovision
Pretty late
This is possibly the best channel on UA-cam.

Прекрасная бабуля.How did it happen that bloger knows that language.
What an amazing and joyous life you live. How amazing is it that you just walk into a neighborhood across the globe and make friends with someone twice your age and have them dancing and singing for you in their living room they just invited you into. I really am blown away at what an amazing life your living and you should be very proud of yourself for making a life for yourself that you can have such enjoyment and adventure. Your parents raised a great man!
This is my kind of travel - getting to know about languages and people and drinking and conversing with them
Bald you have to go to Kalmykia, Yakutia and Sakhalin Island to see the Ainu
The Kalmyks are not Ainus, they are Mongolian
@Lets_Be_Honest_Herehe referred to both
I don't think there are any traditional Ainu communities anymore. There's barely any speakers of the language even!
My hellotalk friend is from shakalin its beautiful there
I thought the Russians killed all the Ainu?
You made her day Mr Bald!
Highly entertaining and informative as ever.
Imagine my day when I saw him coming to my hometown.
May the good Lord bless this beautiful woman! She is so kind, compassionate and welcoming! I am so thankful that I was born in this area of Russia, (I grew up in America though through adoption) but I love this beautiful land and people are my native people! Thank you for sharing this video ❤️
