    The Japanese seem to be able to train their horses very hard to a high level of fitness on very firm tracks without losing many horses to injury which seems to occur to horses in other countries

    • @sakaponch
      @sakaponch Рік тому +3

      日本語で失礼します、日本では他の国と違って気性が荒い馬を好む傾向があり、これが、時には諸刃の剣となるときもあって、上手く噛みあえば闘争心の強い馬が出てきます。
      調教も今の時代はそんなにキツくないですよ、むしろ、イクイノクスは当初は体質が悪く、体調を見ながら調整してました、3歳の秋頃から体高もしっかりしてきて本格化して現在の強さを得ました、勿論本格化前も強い馬でしたが。

    • @imjustme110
      @imjustme110 Рік тому

      @@sakaponch I think that perhaps something is missing in the translation my friend.
      To restate the essential question that remains given your reply, the question would now be how does the temper of a horse effect its ability to withstand racing and training on such hard surfaces?
      In other places in the world that sometimes has hard tracks, like my home of Australia, we have some horses that develop shin soreness and some that have to avoid hard tracks altogether. This fact appears to apply evenly to horses of all temperaments. By that I mean that it has never once been suggested ever, anywhere here, that a horse will handle hard tracks because it is bad tempered or highly strung.
      If it is true that percentage wise your horses stand up to hard tracks better, it seems likely the possible answers would lie in the differing breeding of the horses. And/or the way in which they are trained, conditioned and handled. This is what the original commentator was asking. Do you note any differences in the way that Japanese horses are trained as compared to the rest of the world that would explain the ability to withstand hard tracks?

    • @sakaponch
      @sakaponch Рік тому +1

      @@imjustme110語弊がありましたでしょうか、ハードトレーニングはまず、今の時代では殆ど行われていません、馬の体調を考慮して行われる事が殆どです。
      イクイノクスは当初はレースの後疲れが取れにくい体質のようなので、ゆっくりと育成されました。
      気性が荒いと出る効果はトレーニングでは無く、レースに対する闘争心に繋がるという事です。馬が勝ちたいと動く効果に繋がると考えられてます。

    • @sakaponch
      @sakaponch Рік тому

      @@imjustme110 追伸、確かに日本のトレーニング内容は過去数十年と比べて、かなり飛躍してます。
      昔はトレーニングという形で年間に沢山のレースに出すこともありましたが、今の時代だと、劇的にレース数を絞ることもできてますから。

      I enjoy watching Japanese racing and find the breeding particularly interesting. We have a number of Japanese bred sires and horses in Australia and other good ones on shuttle like Maurice. Some time ago we even had a few top class Sunday Silence sired horses that have left Group 1 lineage to this day. Congratulations on the Japanese win.
