I recommend trying this on hardware. The emulator isn't rendering the points exploding correctly. It's supposed to be tiny semi-transparent colored dots.
@@SVT512 I'm glad you liked it. I plan to add some enhancements in the future. I wish the emulators were better, but at least we have some. Well if you ever get the chance, original hardware with the 3DO mouse and this game will look / feel much better : ) Thanks again for showcasing it.
Hey there, it's the emulator. I'm using the 3DO's MARIA effect, which looks good on hardware but not on all emulators, unfortunately. It's not supposed to have long solid lines like that. It's supposed to look transparent with small dots.

The gigantic numbers makes this game unplayable. Original Tempest is a gem, this is just an ugly, poor interpretation of wonderful original arcade.
