Why haven't you spoken about the Fee regulation as stipulated by COA?
I feel it's important too for people to know.

How do you combat situations where the clients tend to go around picking up ideas or designs with different architects and then leave and execute the project independently with the contractors. How do you make sure that our work is well compensated for the quantum of work provided?

firstly to take advance payment first...and give a proper quotation of stage wise payment

@@ArPrashantPardhi That does seem like a reasonable solution. But one thing which bothers me is that how much is usually the advanced payment and how much is revealed in the first submission 😅. Because COA stipulates 5% as advance or retainer fees which sounds really low because I have heard many a times that upon receiving the plans many clients lie and say that they do not like the design and just take the plan somewhere else and execute it 😅. By that time drawings are already in their hands and we cannot do anything about it 😅, as most of our time and work goes into actually planning and designing

it is better to not follow COA advance fees pattern....first you take advance payment which should more than floor plan fees...if you are taking 6000rs for floor plan....try to get 8000rs as advance so that client will not leave you and your project will save...

@@ArPrashantPardhi yes i was thinking the same thing! 😃 Better to take 10-20% advanced payment first or just the floor plans fees, and then after first submission proceed to take fees for elevation and 3D before starting its work! I was just wasn't exactly sure of how it works in the market or how much the client is willing to spend before seeing any designs 😅! Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️
