Liz Smith yeeeaahhh.... But then she made the comment in the first place so... I think maybe it would have been better to say maybe she feels like female vocal performances these days are really sexualized and vocal ability suffers as a result and that her comment was sort of a generalized observation of that during that particular show. And maybe acknowledge that most of those women can sing really well.
People complain that they’re too many singing and dancing competition shows, and I generally agree. But when I actually think about it, imagine how many amazing singers and performers we would have missed out on over the past 20 or so years. These shows have produced mega stars!
