EV training is wonderfully well explained in this video. So I have an unevolved Pokémon of level 5. I EV train it so it has max EV in two stats and a tiny bit for one stat. Now how do I level up my Pokémon without messing up the EV's? Because if I level it up with battling Pokémon in the wild, the EV spread will change. And then I"m back to square one. So how on earth do I level it up from level 5 to level 50 without changing the EV spread? I really don't get it. It seems impossible without Rare Candies. And I don't have that many Pokédollars.

Fishing in your hometown gives you Garados and that fish which name I forgot. But both give +2 ATK EVs which makes it quiet efficient. Also there are no other pokemon in there so I always use that spot
I use another method and I think is the fastest ever (in BDSP) I start farming some money going to the old couple near the Trophy's Garden zone . The old man has Chatot and the old woman has Roselia ; they will give you initially 6.000 pk$ per Battle with amulet coin ofc . Idk how it works but if you rematch them 10 or 20 times each they will raise their money to 24.000 pk$ . When you have at least 510.000 pk$ go to the Market at Veilstone city and buy 25 vitamines for each stat you want to train for your pokemon (since each stat can be maxed out to 252 evs , for a max of 510 evs given to the pokemon) . Example : Charizard needs 252 evs in Speed and 252 evs in Sp.Atk so you buy 25 Calcium and 25 Carbos and just give him them all . For the last 10 EVS (250+250 = 500 , 10 still to "train") go down in the underground and max them out , so again you need 2 evs in Sp.atk and 2 evs in Speed , defeat 1 Gloom or Houndoom (+2 evs sp.atk) and a Golbat or Furret(+2 evs speed) . For the last 6 evs use a vitamine or whatever you want to use Seems complicated but with this method I can train almost 4 pokemon per day (farming pk$ requires at least 40 mins)
This video was great! One question though: how do I know how many EVs in each stat my Pokémon already has (and therefore how many I need to remove to reset them fully)?
While there is no in game way to tell the exact numerical value of EVs on a pokemon, but you can at least get an idea by pressing X under the Pokemon Skill's tab on their summary page and looking at the yellow hexagon.
You can use the berrys mentioned in the video to check. You can only use the berries for as much ev points your pokemon has to drain. So if you are able to use 9 of the atk reducing berries for example that means you have around 90 evs. But if you can only use 1 of thag berry that your pokemon has 10 or less atk evs.
Do all pokemon in my party get the evs ? So if if i for example have a already trained pokemon as party leader with the item that gives extra evs will the rest of my party also get the evs ?
So update: I was told that the first EV berry given will lower that EV to 100 regardless of its initial value. The max you will ever need is 11 to lower EVs.
For the last 6 evs use a vitamine or whatever you want to use
Seems complicated but with this method I can train almost 4 pokemon per day (farming pk$ requires at least 40 mins)
When I kill a Pokémon/ does it give 1 ev to each Pokémon in my party?
Very thanks 😊 Much helpful 😎👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Good vid bro
Glad it helped
if you pokemon is maxed out in calcium will the power lens even work?
Do all pokemon in my party get the evs ? So if if i for example have a already trained pokemon as party leader with the item that gives extra evs will the rest of my party also get the evs ?
wow well explained 👌👌👌round and clear 💪 thanks a lot for this
For speed you can rechallenge the magikarp trainer near eterna city
He has 6 magikarps and you would get 6 EVs per battle without power items
7:37 EV training here is how I got my shiny Gastly
Thanks!
Got you!
Best way to explain ev train in one video
Wait, so does it give evs in all pokemon in your party
This video is so much better then velisify, dude just keeps rambling on.
Very helpful videos man, please post a breeding guide as I have never done breeding in Pokemon and I have no idea what I'm doing
