I have one of this car by my self, also in red color, black roof, fabalus driving, this is real driving, without any electronic shit. My car is build in 1968.
Nice pictures of a fantastic car! I have a question.. I am busy repairing the same car (1967). What is the original color of the plate beneath the aluminium stripe on the doors? Black or red?
thanks for writing me. in the original car it is the same color as the body. In some restorations, a special anti-rust black paint is applied to protect the body
@@FirenzePrima Keeps me awake at night hahahaha.. But when you Google and type Brochure Peugeot 204 cabriolet the plate is black... pfff what shall I do? I think that red is more vaulnerable?
@@Pan3405 on the web there are many versions with both body color and black. the black treatment was called "antirombo" which was an anti-rust. Verosimilmentente could change from country to country, in the sense that in countries where there was more erosion due to salt on the streets was sold the version with the black plate. in other countries, Italy is not anecessor. I say this because many car companies diversified the characteristics according to the countries where they exported
It is still a head turner indeed.
