Raga Jog from this exact concert was published as a CD. I was not aware it had been filmed. I've lost count how many times I've listened to the recording. It's so wonderful to see such a familiar piece come alive visually. Thank you.

I saw this after long time. Ulta dhere is mind blowing. There is a talk show by Sumanta Ghoshal on Zakir, the speaking hand. Late Ravishankar, who otherwise very reserved, he also said in that documentary that Zakir can do anything with Tabla. What a certificate 🙌

Agreed! It's interesting that the word "jugalbandi" is starting to be written "jugalbandhi", replacing the Persian element with a Sanskritic one....
