I have ridden with Rachel (She changed her name to Victoria Ivy) many many times and I live in Charleston where she teaches Philosophy at College of Charleston. I am a 200lb man that is a mediocre cyclist on the grand scale. I leave Rachel in the dust on the sprints. She is a slow man. I have respect on what Rachel is going through as a person, but it is completely unjust for her to compete against biological females. Trashy. BTW, I get crushed by the other male racers in my area. Scott Minor, Jeff Moore and Jeff Avans would leave us all in the dust.
So because he couldn't beat the males, he switched genders so he could dominate females. Sounds to me like he's really pathetic

I don't believe that anyone would go through a complete sex change and open themselves up to extreme ridicule to win a bicycle race. That would be psychotic. Rachel is many things, but I don't think psychotic is one of them.
Knowing Rachel personally, I feel that there is far far more to it than bicycle races. Frankly, I think bicycle racing is her escape from reality. (I say that, because it's what I use for an escape)

These people are literally taking college scholarships away from high school girl athletes. no one saying you can't *exist* . They say that specifically to create this victim mentality and make it seem like anyone who doesn't think that a man should be able to beat the living sh*t out of a woman in an MMA fight is some sort of literal eugenicist.
I have one small disagreement (though most of what you said I 100% agree on). Something to take into consideration about highschool trans athletes is whether or not they transitioned pre-puberty. With decreasing stigma around dysphoria, people are transitioning earlier and in some very rare cases, as early as 9 or 10 (socially. At that age only social transition is usually allowed and sometimes puberty blockers are authorized until 14-16 when they are typically legally allowed to do HRT). As far as I know, much of the critical advantages of males stems from puberty and exposure to the rising testosterone, so if a trans woman transitions early enough, they'd lose that competetive edge from bone density, bone structure, and even height and muscle as a result of undergoing fenale puberty thus makong it fair for them to compete with women(this is only assuming my comment on puberty is true, if not, then no). I generally think trans athletes shouldn't be allowed to compete in women's sports, but I think exceptions can be made to those whom fit a special bracket like the one I mentioned.

That's a good point. The majority of people, including many trans people and those in the woke culture , don't think it is fair for tans women to compete with women. It is only a handful of noisy opinionated people that do. I don't know why the administrators, and governments let it happen. Trans women in women sports will ruin the sport entirely. Not only will women become discouraged from joining, but spectators will no longer want to watch either.
They don't have to agree with it but it would be discrimination to respond to it in that manner.

I have no problem with a person being trans but I definitely have a problem with them being in a sport that they know they're going to dominate regardless if it's running or MMA because of their physical biological advantages, no amount of estrogen will ever be able to take away the raw strength and power a male possesses genetically so instead of pushing for them to be in female sports they should just be pushing to have their own category in sports; just like women have their own category and males have their own category they should have their own transgender category where they're competing and going against their own Point. The vast majority of the Olympic games you're talking about didn't have any transgender people competing in the games.
It wasn't that 'we would have noticed by now', it was that the rules were much stricter and no trans person competed.
Then in 2011 the rules were relaxed so gender surgery wasn't a requirement.
Then 5 years they were relaxed further.
Now they've been relaxed so much....we've noticed. Because it's easier for trans women to compete without having gender surgery surgery, without having to have their testosterone as low as they used to and without having to wait so long in transitioning to be able to compete.
This is what happens. You remove rules and you see the results.
So the next step with regard to gender is self identification of gender and that's it. That's all you need to do.
The number of trans women in women's sport will increase significantly at that point. Then you'll see Mens Sport, and Mixed Sports. The latter category will see mostly trans women in the elite category.
That's what people are fighting against.

For the longest time I didn’t believe this was actually happening. This is insane.
I lift weights, have been doing so for years. I am a “larger” female at 6’ and 190 ish lbs, I’ve been active, strong, and carried a good bit of muscle my whole life. I can move a good amount of weight for a woman.
My husband who is my height and weighs 30 lbs more than me could walk in the gym any day (he’s not into lifting at the moment) and bench probably 2-3x what I can, and squat and deadlift just as much or more as me. Dude sat on his ass for like 6 years and still has big shoulders and biceps. His quads are literally solid muscle. It’s a biological fact. I’m not mad at it. I’ve been working my ass off for years but any dude in the gym that puts in the same amount of work and training will beat me at every lift hands down. It’s a fucking fact of life and we need to accept that. Men are stronger and it’s something we should appreciate. Women are strong in their own way but it’s just not fair to throw them up against people who were born, developed, and probably trained as males. Enough with this bullshit already.

There's an easy fix to all of this: 1. They can create their own competitions and compete against/amongst themselves, or 2. Instead of Trans athletes competing against women, let them compete in the men's division...when they get clobbered, flattened and humiliated, then they will understand the struggles female athletes face by competing against Trans athletes.
Facts are facts. If a biological male is average at best competing against men, but excels when competing against women, that athlete didn't all of a sudden out work every female athlete to achieve their new champion status. There were other factors/advantages that contributed...many of those are biological.
A person may be female in spirit, and may have surgically changed their body, but a tall male body that's had surgery is still bigger & stronger than other women's. The person still has broader shoulders, thicker bones, a lower center of gravity, slimmer hips, larger feet, bigger lungs, bigger heart, and don't have to deal with monthly problems from female reproduction organs such as water renention, stomach cramping, back cramping and pain, & mood issues (from pain, we now know). These things enable male-born bodies to move more swiftly, pivot more tightly, run farther & faster and so forth than a woman of equal height. It's not fair to cis women. Look at transgender male-born MMA fighters wiping the floor with cis women, punching the women in their faces, kicking them in the gut, throwing them scross the floor. A male-born body will always be physically advantaged.

I don’t even book hair appointments if I need to bleach my hair or anything that has needles or stinging if I’m on my period because it’s just intolerable. I have to take off days my first couple days of life my first couple days of my period cos I feel like shit. These trans women will never know what it’s like to be shut down because of your period every month… Then to have the PMS the week before and then the ovulation cramps… It really is mentally and physically taxing at times

I can't recall the exact study, but it is out there. Basically kids are seeing transgenders get attention and being called brave and such and want the same. Studies have been done, the general findings where that it all depends on when the transition started. Ultimately if you went through puberty as a boy, and not as a girl, you have a physical advantage...big surprise....
Pre puberty there doesn't seem to be much difference in physical prowess between boys and girls. But once those hormones start kicking, the cis male body going through puberty's with male hormones will almost certainly develop larger lungs, more red blood cells for carrying oxygen, larger muscle tissue, and greater bone density. This is with no regards to training or lifestyle.
When they tested this across age categories. The females actually tended to test better physically pre puberity. But at around 15-18 there is an undeniable drift and it is around here when things such as run times and strength test begin to highly favor biological males (or more specifically) "People who have gone through puberity as a male"

I'm a 5ft2 woman training to become a firefighter. A man of the same height as me would still do better than me in all the physical tests, that's reality.
I'm a 5' 10" 160 lb woman. I used to play rugby, and we would practice with the men's side.
I wouldn't play in a competitive game with men, ever. The thought of a guy my size full on tackling me is not fun. The world has gone crazy.

Not true. I am biological "feminine", not girly, female. Married with (grown) children. Love me a man. I played football and ran in high school. Weight trained and kick boxed. I could easily, hands down... kick many a man's a**. Ran faster. Caught a ball better. Jumped higher. I was very high with testosterone in my teen years. I wasn't big on dairy and didn't eat much meat. Actually didn't eat much at all. Fruits. Lots of oranges because I lived amongst the groves.
I could jump so damn high just from a stand still. I grew up outdoors, slept under the stars often. Threw rocks with my feet, walked in the new moon dark. I was completely amazing.
My biggest fallback was.. I wasn't book smart so I couldn't compete. Otherwise, I assure you I would have been running Olympics. Hands down I would have brought the U.S. world records like you wouldn't believe. Yes. Women can beat men. (The only man I couldn't beat was actually a smoker! But don't smoke!) I'm my own proof.

Well I wouldn't say a man of your height would automatically be stronger on all components since there are many factors (bmi,how much they train,etc) I'd average most men of your height would on average be better at most.Most not all.
I think it's best to just have people in the same range of body build to compete. Like if a women who has the build of a quarterback is competing against women around her who are noticeably skinnier than her. But that's just my views you don't have to agree.
