I think the thing about comparing any of the members of BTS is just to keep in mind that there are people in the fandom who treat their solo endeavors like a competition and they've wrapped part of their identity up in their favourite being the best, so depending on what you say and who you praise, you'll get them either gloating and celebrating or being highly sensitive at what they see as an insult. i hope you won't let it discourage you from discovering more about BTS, because they're all amazing artists :)
My recommendation is say what you really think and feel. So many reactors get bullied by the fandom's insistence to not compare the members that their reactions end of being the same, generic comments just to please the audience. I was actually happy you were straight forward and honest in your last reaction. All people have different tastes and you absolutely have the right to talk about your preferences in both vocals and dancing! Jimin is originally a ballet dancer (modern dance), J-Hope is more about hip-hop and street dancing, JK is very diverse in dance, he has smooth, clear, but at the same time powerful movements! One thing about BTS is that they always treat their featured artist as another member of the group no matter whether they're big or small. They give them time and space to shine. They're not trying to compete. Do you know that j-hope had a song with J Cole titled on the street?. This performance video was filmed very near to Jungkook's military enlistment hence the new hairstyle. Comparing to dreamers or seven era, he had longer hair. You are entitled to your own opinion because that is how you feel. There's a reason why they choose Jungkook as the main vocalist and centre despite being the youngest of the group and started his musical journey in BTS at the age of 13-14. If you see behind the scene BTS had, other members always praised Jungkook calling him genius, the most talented and often asked his help. Sadly some people simply dismissed it.

The song alone is insane. But I absolutely love Usher as a feature. Love the way you go off to it. There's also a very cool solo from Jimin. Also as a live performance. It's called Lie. And ‘Filter’ is also insanely good. BTS as a group started out with hip hop and later broadened their genre. They really had their breakthrough with the song ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’. I can highly recommend it to you. The song also deals with many philosophical approaches and other social aspects. One of my many favourites is ‘Idol’. The song is so brilliant and the message ‘You can't stop me lovin mysel’ is such a shout-out to everyone who criticises you in life. DNA is just as good. It's also a song for driving and the bonnet lifts right off your car during ‘Fire’. I can't wait to see how deep you go into this rabbit hole. Have fun yet. Another weird thing to let you in on -- because BTS got to the top without the help of the kpop industry, there are a LOT of salty people who cannot wait to take them down. This includes the people running the "Big Three" companies that have historically controlled not only kpop, but the media that would be used to promote acts in Korea (tv stations, radio, etc). BTS came from a bankrupting company that, to this day, does not play the payola game. Since day one, BTS has been the target of unhinged smear campaigns, d3ath threats, bullying, and campaigns to sabotage their music releases. Even when they were relatively "nobodies." They were not "allowed" to get big because the Big Three had their chosen chart-toppers already lined up. Through their determination and clever innovations with social media (creating or popularizing many trends you see today), they managed to reach fans and bypass all the Korean payola (and bypass the eventual American payola, too, which is why you never hear their vast discography on the radio). Some of the crazy sabotaging tactics that are common today include posing as ARMY with the intention of going psycho on people online. Now, there are definitely crazies amongst the fandom and they are usually the loudest. But there are also a lot of posers prowling around. Please know the vast majority of fans are not looking to beef with anyone. :) 💜

Some people always have a problem when reactors like you praising JK. If you praise him make sure that you also praise the other members. This is how it’s been in the ARMy fandom. When you have a fanbase in the multi millions worldwide, you are going to have to put up with the kooks, the crazies, the solo stans and even the people pretending to be fans to try and put you off BTS! It is easy, don't give them a thought and block, delete, move on.

Another weird thing to let you in on -- because BTS got to the top without the help of the kpop industry, there are a LOT of salty people who cannot wait to take them down.
This includes the people running the "Big Three" companies that have historically controlled not only kpop, but the media that would be used to promote acts in Korea (tv stations, radio, etc). BTS came from a bankrupting company that, to this day, does not play the payola game.
Since day one, BTS has been the target of unhinged smear campaigns, d3ath threats, bullying, and campaigns to sabotage their music releases. Even when they were relatively "nobodies." They were not "allowed" to get big because the Big Three had their chosen chart-toppers already lined up.
Through their determination and clever innovations with social media (creating or popularizing many trends you see today), they managed to reach fans and bypass all the Korean payola (and bypass the eventual American payola, too, which is why you never hear their vast discography on the radio).
Some of the crazy sabotaging tactics that are common today include posing as ARMY with the intention of going psycho on people online. Now, there are definitely crazies amongst the fandom and they are usually the loudest. But there are also a lot of posers prowling around. Please know the vast majority of fans are not looking to beef with anyone. :) 💜

ARMYs do not know what respect for someone else's opinion and taste is, but for some reason they demand respect for themselves and their opinions and preferences. In addition, most of them are either children or boors. The only way out is to block them and do only what you yourself think is necessary. Do not let them come to your house with dirty feet.
