Holy cow. I like to be able to hear the drums through a plain old Omni microphone sound like it was caught here. You can actually hear how the drum kit REALLY sounds, particularly the cymbals. China cymbals always sound great when they are close microphone overhead, but sound like a pang in real life. That's why you can't just buy them out of the magazine catalog. You got to go play them live. I ended up with the Zildjian China trash. They are paperthin, but they sound like a China should… Like the end of subdivisions. Anyway, that drum kit sounds fantastic. The tom-toms and the snare sound absolutely savage.
One of my favorite Rush songs. If I practiced 6 hours each day for 200 years, I might be able to do that.
This is a tricky one for sure.
Great Job Vince! You are The MAN! Jacob's ladder is one of my favorites!
Outstanding!!!
WHAT!?!? Wait a minute... Ya mean I was playing 13/8 way before I knew WTH 13/8 even was?!?!?! Well THAT'S Cool As F !
Thank You Neil !
Neil did at every show what we try to do when listening to Rush
At first the sound made it hard to appreciate but I'd say you're really nailing the feel. Great job.
That Drummer kicks major ass!

Really cool thanks!!! BTW its 6/8 + 7/8 (easier to count)
There is a drum solo?
If you’re gonna play Neil Peart you need to play with the conviction!!! Don’t just play the parts and go through the motions. Otherwise good job
Sorry to say, but the opening cymbals sound very tinny.
Strange that he meticulously follows Neil's setup but doesn't use his Sabian Paragon cymbals
True, like hitting a biscuit tin.
