Last summer I backpacked through Central America starting in Mexico and busing all the way down to Costa Rica!!! it was epic, and I loved El Salvador and Honduras so much! The people were so kind. Latinos are some of the friendliest people I have ever meet. Also love this video btw

The reason why i stumbled with this Vlog because I am searching for some info how to cross the border, I am planning a backpacking trip across Central America, from Panama to Guatemal. That was nerve-wrackingly insane but I am so amazed the kindness of the El Salvadorians. This just solidified my desire to visit ES and explore the country. Thanks for the great Vlog.

They are people who have endured a terrible war and poverty, but after being passed through the fire, you begin to be refined like gold. The country might not be perfect, but their president is making all the right changes. The people are happy and are all in accord with making a better future. I see great things happening for them. They have kind hearts as you have seen. I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings them. I see myself visiting the country in the future as it is becoming more tourist friendly.

My parents are Salvadoreans and I've gone there 9 times. I never took the bus until my last trip a few weeks ago. To be honest, i was inspired by Timmy and his comment on the real experience of ES.

I remember after work one day I stopped at Walgreens and when I was pulling out I ran over a glass bottle. Immediately my tire lost all of the air. They were all new!! I was upset that someone would have left it there, inevitable causing this exact situation. I thought “how inconsiderate some people are”.. then, I tried putting on my spare and I knocked the car over while it was lifted and it fell onto my wheel. Now my wheel was stuck and my jack was bent. I gave in and started calling a tow truck. This was during the afternoon rush hour on a nice sunny day. People started swarming me, asking how they can help. Almost no one walked past without wanting to assist. Many offered to use their smaller car jacks, and one guy told me to wait while he went home and got his brand new Jack from home. He showed up in 10 minutes and helped save my car. My takeaway was not the anger I had for the person that left the bottle there, but the people that were there to help.. I couldn’t believe it.. I love this video so much brother. When you are the type of person that would help in these situations, people will want to help you. This video is magical bro. Thank you for sharing

I used to hitchhike back in the 2000s and I've been to many places in South America where the police used to take our money. Now the police giving you money is a first for me. The one thing I've learned from my years of traveling though is to never depend on ATMs and always carry a little money hidden somewhere for emergencies (this is money you ONLY use when you have nothing else and have no way of getting money anywhere). I wish you safe travels in the future.

This video just changed my perception about Elsavador, all the videos have watched shows that Elsavador has a highest crime rate in the world with people dying every seconds, the country capital San Salvador is even refered to as the murder capital of the world and is the home of the most notorious gangs in the world(ms13 and the 18th street gangs)but with this video i can see that El Salvadorians are very kind people, look at the way they helped you with money when you are stranded even the police, damn that's amazing

I used to hitchhike back in the 2000s and I've been to many places in South America where the police used to take our money. Now the police giving you money is a first for me. That's just amazing the kindness of the Salvadoran people! Good thing you weren't drunk, otherwise it would have been hell. 😅

Really enjoyed your videos. The one thing I've learned from my years of traveling though is to never depend on ATMs and always carry a little money hidden somewhere for emergencies (this is money you ONLY use when you have nothing else and have no way of getting money anywhere). I wish you safe travels in the future.

This video just changed my perception about Elsavador, all the videos have watched shows that Elsavador has a highest crime rate in the world with people dying every seconds, the country capital San Salvador is even refered to as the murder capital of the world and is the home of the most notorious gangs in the world(ms13 and the 18th street gangs)but with this video i can see that El Salvadorians are very kind people, look at the way they helped you with money when you are stranded even the police, damn that's amazing
