Don’t forget Gail Yellen. She used to be a baby lock ambassador now she moved over to Bernina, but she also shows you a lot of techniques with different types of thread.
If you want a balanced stitch then yes. In a wave I always use 12wt in UL and LL. Needles I use standard serger thread in this case. Both my loopers have 12wt in this tutorial.
Thank you so much, Becky! I hate to say this, but I can’t, for the life of me, find where I got the plastic wrap! I’ve looked everywhere and came up with zip. I need to order more so when I finally figure it out, I’ll msg you. If you haven’t joined my FB group, Sew Blessed Quilting and Embroidery, please do so. We can communicate that way as well. ❤️
Beautiful! So glad I found you and can learn from your knowledge. Were both the wave threads 12 weight? I'm new to serging and got a Triumph. I feel like a winner! But so much to learn. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Thank you so much, Janet! You absolutely are a winner with (and I’m sure without! 😂) the Triumph!! Both threads were 12wt. I’m planning to do some very intro videos on the Triumph as there are so many who are new to serging! Keep an eye out and if you have specific questions ask! I’ll address them!
That quilt is so cute!

Awe, Delores I so appreciate you! Thank you for all you kindness and support. It means so much to me. ❤️
I thought you had to use the same weight thread in the UL and LL to keep the stitched balanced-is this not the case or just not with the wave?

Love your videos. Can you tell me where you found the plastic wrap for the spools?

What’s the name of the first blue thread you showed with the plastic tape on it? Thanks for sharing.
It’s Wonderfil Accent ACM04 12wt. You’ll love it!
