Are you struggling with forming your barre chords? 😩 One reason you might be frustrated is because you're still building your chord shape one finger at a time. 🤔 Although this is a great way to get started, the sooner you can move all your fingers together as a unit, the faster you'll notice an improvement in your barre chord shapes overall. 🙌 (Plus, this is a great first step to getting your barre chord transitions quicker too! 🥳)

Fun fact: As a small-handed girly with not a lot of reach, the F minor chord is actually the hardest barre shape for me to play clearly. 🙈 So if you notice some buzzing and muting, I left it in and uncut to show that it is completely normal and adjusting your form as you practice is totally okay. 👍 (Also I filmed this one last after doing like 10 other Practice With Me barre chord videos so my index finger was practically numb at this point. 😅) Thanks for watching and practicing with me! 🎸🎶

Thank you so much for saying this! I would love it if you would do a video on the challenges of small hands- specifically things that are not always addressed by other players (like whether we can leave a gap under the neck, or if we will be able to fret notes up next to the fret wire like it's suggested, if/when it's ok to have wrist bend and what positions we might have to accept a bent wrist, etc etc etc). And talking about whether we will, in fact, ever overcome these weird small hand/small palm/short finger challenges, AND if our techniques will eventually start to correct themselves because some of us want our technique to LOOK correct from the view of another guitarist or a a viewing audience.
