I think when there is the little number, like the 1 before the 2 in the first part of the tabs, you play the 1 and 2 together. So I believe that each part where there is a little number before it, you play the two numbers together? I was playing the video in slow motion and noticed that each time for the first couple double tabs there was the one. I’m possibly wrong

Yes, you're right. The smaller numbers that are placed upper on the left of the bigger ones means they are played together.
