Glad you had this series posted. I know the videos are a little old now (it's now 2022) but I really needed to see these videos NOW since I am working on footwork since I am back to playing in tournaments monthly. Thank you!

Thanks for the 4th video. I believe if you include most of the patterns in a PRO match play and analyse slowly, it will have a great learning impact. The first few drills if fine, when the rally goes on, the footwork becomes complex, or we make it complex :) Can you analyse few PRO players in slow motion (like Ma long, ZJK, FZD etc.) for a full point, long rally? Thank you.

Very useful tips coach. Love to see that coach swing her body to make the powerful pivotal stroke. No wonder that the skinny boy like LYJ has powerful forehand attack

Coach, actually with the 'Cross-Over' exercises. The Chinese Men's Team actually will have a pretty long drill where they will start their backhand loops first with a blocker. After a few minutes, then the blocker will put the ball a few times to the middle for the player to transition with his forehand, then continue moving to the forehand side to continue to the drill for a few minutes. They will repeat another cycle or two after that before switching up.

In general, i am rather agree with your technic analysis, but about your footwork technic side by side i have something to say : How can you compare Timo boll's footwork technic who is still at the world 2nd place in the world ranking (at 37yo) with Ryu seung ming (36yo) who is not even in the world ranking?? I think that Timo Boll has an excellent footwork which allowed him to be so high still at 37yo

Hello coach emratthich, I've been trying to put body mass transfer to put power on the ball, but my right foot becomes fatigued first, my left foot is okay, does it mean that I've been doing it wrong?
