I can’t remember the last time I went to see a movie in theater. It’s gotten so expensive around me - easily $50+ for my husband and I to go - but the popcorn sure is yummy!
Yes it's super expensive, when I take the children it's easily £70+

I used to LOVE Harold and the purple crayon on HBO when my daughter was little. It was early 2000’s. You may could find old episodes. It was super cute. I didn’t know the move was out. I’ll check it out. The show was all animated.

When my husband and I (lovers of Marvel movies) went to see Deadpool & Wolverine with our friends, there was a group of moms with their sons who appeared to be in the age range of 8-11 in the theater. As a parent (my kids are 7 & 9), I was mortified that these moms were allowing their children to see this movie!
I have read the book It Ends With Us as well as the sequel and my favorite relationship was Lily and Allysa's (and Marshall's). I'm disheartened to hear that things were left out that seemed so crucial to the reading of the book! I'll probably still watch it when it hits a streamer...

Totally agree re the sister in law and brother in law. Imagined them to be different. Loved the book but found the film a little slow in places. I still cried my eyes out x

This is a gorgeous look. Interesting to see you like the Patrick Ta and good to know about primer and application method. We really don't have the same taste in movies (can't deal with horror - am big girl's blouse 😂) but i find it so interesting to hear your reviews. French comedies are my absolute favourites. They are just as funny as you are, Charlotte. 😂 Yesterday I went to the cinema watching "Stay with us" with Had Elmaleh. It was deep and hilarious at yhe same time!

As usual love your videos especially this series. My thoughts are the same as yours on It Ends with Us and Blink Twice. I kept thinking about Blink Twice after and kept having flashbacks, very very clever and so so dark. Definitely feel It Ends with Us could’ve been so much better, soundtrack on point!
Just watched LEE tonight at a Premier viewing, I really enjoyed it, it was a powerful film,and of course love Kate. Can see some debate around the casting and I get both sides. This film was 11 years in the making and it was Kate’s and it was illustrated so well through her eyes imho.

Love the make up and movies videos👍. Ooooh Blink Twice sounds right up my strasse, am going to check out if it's on at my local cinema. I'm always a bit reluctant to follow up a movie from a book I've really enjoyed as they're so often such a disappointment - for me Angela's Ashes was a massive fail from what is an absolutely wonderful book. Two that I did find translated very well to screen were Jaws and The Exorcist. After reading both books way back when, I thought neither were do-able but how wrong was I. Both great movies.

Loved the video ❤ I sent the Mascara back to CT. It smudged all over my upper (dry) lid and I had such high hopes and was bitterly disappointed 😢. Love the palette from Natasha and it quickly became my all time favourite palette. So beautiful and wearable. Big hugs 🤗 ❤

Love your Makeup and Movies videos, Charlotte! I wondered about the Deadpool movie so might add that to my list. I am not a horror film buff. If there are sharp objects, count me out. Grin. Plus I don't need to see a movie about domestic abuse. Did not read the book. The look you created is beautiful. I bought the Claydreaming nail polish when I saw it on you a while ago and love it. The silicone/water question has confused me when it comes to Huda Beauty's new Blur Primer (water based) and face Blur foundation (silicone based) release. They seem meant to go together but no one is explaining the thinking behind it.
Interesting! It could be that they've been formulated in a way that they will work well together. Neither appear to have silicone in the first few ingredients so it could be that the foundation has a smaller amount. However, water primer/silicone foundation works better than silicone primer/water/foundation if that makes sense! ❤
Charlotte, I might be wrong but Bobby brown vitamin enriched is silicon based!
Yes I realised I missed Cyclopentasiloxane in the ingredients but it appears to be much lighter on the silicones than any of the others I use so still seems to do the job well!

I liked Blink Twice and Trap. Blink Twice is really suspenseful and disturbing but good. Josh Hartnett is excellent in Trap, but it focuses more on the singer Lady Raven than Josh's character, among other criticisms.
I didn't see the trailer for The Trap, so I didn't know the twist of the matter. Because it's a Shyamalan movie, I spent the whole time waiting for something, a plot twist (anything) that never happened. So I was dissapointed at the end. Also, you know very early in the movie what's going on with the character and after that there were no more surprises 😔

Im not a movie person but like hearing your reviews especially when makeup is involved. I too watched reviews of the Patrick Ta foundation and the reviews are indeed mixed. It seems too glowy/greasy for my liking and also expensive in the Uk, but seems good for dry skin

I haven’t tried this foundation but I’ve been hearing makeup artists say that with foundations that have a lot of skin care ingredients you don’t need to apply skin care before applying the foundation. That might help for people who are having trouble with it?
Just read the "It ends with us" book last week - and the movie had premier yesterday at the movies here in Norway - dont know if I want to see it now, as the book was brilliant :-) I am definitely putting Blink Twice on my "to-watch-list" :-D I love that you like the Patrick Ta foundation, I have ordered it but not received it yet, and am getting nervous as I see so many dont like it at all (I bought two shades....)

I agree with your thoughts on the Westman Atelier concealer. I ordered the shade L2, which is described as “Light, Neutral Undertone”…and yep, it’s yellow. It’s so yellow I almost can’t get it to work for me.

So many fantistic films you seen this month I still want to see wicked little letters at some point specifically from your discussion on it 😆Love the purple/dark lavender color of you jumper/sweater on you such a pretty color for fall/autumn 😀, I have not been able to put down the I need a warm or the golden palettes since I got them so much so that I actually got a large magnetic palette and put all the shades in both palettes together in the same palette 😆 and the CT mascara for me personally is my favorite I’ve tried in a long time 😀

I am a big movie person, wolverine/deadpool - loved it, it starts with us... mm okay , not as good as the book, trap- good up until near the end (15 mins of running away/caught/running away) destroyed it, blink twice - loved it and Channing tatum looked delish in it.... Love the makeup as well..

Great video! So many movies I want to check out. It Ends with us was disappointing. Mostly the lack of dialogue. Even scenes that were supposed to have depth didn't land because there was no context. I loved the book too

How good was Blink Twice? Ps. The second Beetlejuice was terrible.
I was also very disappointed in the Bettlejuice 2 movie. It took wayyyy too long to get to the plot and missed the mark for me.😢
