Capital News Ep 1 (ABC - April 9, 1990)

This is the first episode of Capital News, a newsroom drama that aired on ABC during the 1990 television season, starring Lloyd Bridges, William Russ, Helen Slater, and Wendell Pierce. I compiled this episode from four other parts I found on UA-cam. Only three episodes were aired in the US, but in the UK, Germany, Hong Kong, and The Netherlands, all 13 episodes were shown. I have not been able to find any more episodes online.

This would've worked a little better if Glenn Gordon Caron had been deemed the showrunner. Much of the same staffers on fellow show Moonlighting worked here.

Did not know that. I have noticed that a lot of 80’s shows that revolved around the newsroom did not make it past one season. (Buffalo Bill, Annie McGuire, etc.)
