Hi As you mentioned on the video, do you need to pickup the checked-in baggages/lugages or just your carry-one? Wouldn't the airline automatically transfer you baggages to your next destination or flight
Hello! You don't need to pick up checked bags in China. Your checked bags will go all the way to the destination city. You can only pick up your carry on bags in China.

I saw on the China embassy website that travelers can have 24hr visa free transit in China but the terms were a bit confusing. Jamaican citizens have to apply for a visa in order to exit the airport. If you stay in the airport, you don't need a visa. For more details, please contact your embassy. China permits short stays without a visa for passengers arriving from specific countries only. If all of the passports are from a country on the list, you can stay in a hotel in China without a visa. If any of the passports are not from the list of permitted countries, you will not be permitted to leave the airport without a visa. Hello! Yes, there will be a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. The hotel that I stayed at had a shuttle every 30 mins from 6-8am (I think) and every hour after that. I didn't get out of the hotel because I got there late at night. But if I had arrived there earlier, I could have walked around the hotel. Please be aware that they are in CA, and you may want to call them during the business hours. I booked through Expedia. Although I have an itinerary number, will that be sufficient, since I didn’t book directly with the airline?
