I thought it was really, really good! I am Mexican and my husband is Palestinian so I am exposed to Arabic quite often. I know several words but it is cool to hear them actually put together in sentences for every-day conversations. Jazak Allah, Sheikh Munaf!
Salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullah. There are 9 episodes with 9 conversations (one per episode), hope you enjoy them in shaa Allaah.

Assalamualaikum apa kabar?
As an Urdu speaker, I understood some of the words, like Talba, Qalam, Shukran, Jazeera, etc. Also I understood the Arabic expressions like Alhamdulillah, Mashallah etc. since we Muslims use them daily
Thank you! This is super helpful for someone just beginning to learn Arabic!
Started watching this Arabic conversation in 2024...✨ mashallah
I’m so happy by understanding the conversation without the transliteration , may Allah reward you guys❤️
It's very beautiful and I am proud that there is very significant influence of Arabic over my native language - Georgian

In English the students name is written as Abdur and it's incorrect to write that way in Arabic cause his name means "Slave of the merciful"
عبد - slave
الرحمان - the merciful
Together it's pronounced Abdur Rehman. Writing just Abdur would translate as "Slave of The" which obviously makes no sense.
Also, as far as I'm aware, "Sheikh" is just a respectable title used for older men. It's not his given name.
You are a brilliant!
Asc sister let me ask u question ?
السلام عليكم
I just want to tell you that the spelling of Abd Rahman in Arabic is like this "عبد الرحمَن" without alef.
Thanks Afsheen ........ I have also started and need your bit help also. Ap muja apna email bataiya ga. mera id aroojee at gmail.com ha

Have you got a blog or a website with the text also in Arabic with all the tashkeel?
Hi, I know it's super late but I just wrote an Arabic transcript in the comments today so you could check it out :) Unfortunately no tashkeel because I don't have them on my keypad :(
What is the dialect of the conversation........is it, "Modern Spoken Arabic(MSA)"........????
can you add arabic sub ?
yes please
Hi, I know it's super late but I just wrote an Arabic transcript in the comments today so you could check it out :)
I'm Somali, and the Somalian language shares some number of vocabulary with Arabic, and I already know how to read, write and pronounce in Arabic, so this is not all that hard to me.
this dialogue is in what dialect? fusha or another?
This is literally a Muslim conversation, I’m a Christian Arab myself and never talk like this.. The greetings are all in a Muslim way
XD I hate to break it to you, but have you even been to the uploaders channel??
@@AdmiralShinee It literally says in the title "In Arabic" so, people think it's just regular arabic
After 2 months and a half I can understand 95% of this Maa Shaa' Allaah, Alhamdulillaah
Same with me. Walhamdulillah
Well done both of you! Ma sha Allah tabarak Allah.
@@linguafranca7265 How did you learn? (Is this video Fusha?)

أحب العربية. ... شكرا جزيلا لكم. ......
Md Hanif Hoque
Thank's for this video! I've started to learn arabic, because i've always wanted to learn it , i admire some aspects of your culture and your history.
Do you have to say Allah all the time if you wanna speak this language? lol
It's Depends from the people, if they're muslim,it's normal they often say "Allah" And
whenever there's "Allah" in a word that'd means muslim religion's word like "Allahu Akbar" And "Alhamdulillah"
As Salamo Alaikum. May I request you to add arabic subtitles also along with English. That will be great. Trust me.
JAZAK ALLAH KHAIRAN
Hi, I know it's super late but I just wrote an Arabic transcript in the comments today so you could check it out :)
Why is Allah mentioned so much in a basic conversation? Is it because Islam is deeply tied with modern Arabic?
Would non-Muslim Arabic native speakers still use Allah based expressions regardless? (Like how non religious people will still use English expressions like "oh my god")
I'm curious because I'm thinking of learning Arabic as my next foreign language.
MrDashima Hey Buddy , Allah means God in Arabic for both Muslims and Christians , so it doesn't mean whoever use Allah is Muslim , in my country Algeria we have Christians in my city Oran and they say Tabark Allah but in their prescriptive , it's more like WOW ! Not in a Muslim religious matter :)
***** there are people who speak Aramaic in Syria and Jordan ???
***** Wow , do u know on which places exactly they live in Syria and Iraq those minorities
yes. Non Muslims still use the word Allah. It just means God in Arabic. Kind of like how you mentioned that even non religious people say "oh my god"
I knew this is a little too late as an answer to your question but allah just means god to Arabic people whether they are Christian Muslim new etc. so yes, Christians do mention “Allah” when speak just like the two in the video do it’s just that refer to god ( or their god) in general. Actually Christians, Muslims, Jews get pretty fine along with each other in Arabian places, but you won’t see that on the news. Sorry for going too far.
Anytime,

Going to Ohio state for a B.A in Arabic next year!!!

I like how the gentleman in black responds with expressions and repetitiveness
The Shaykh is psychic. He's never heard of Trinidad before, but on his own he figures out it's called Trinidad and Tobago.
Manshallah It's amazing how Islam bring people from different parts of the world together. I went to Hong Kong for a trip and ran into these group of young Muslim brothers and the welcomed me and gave me a tour. It's an amazing feeling to know you have brothers and sisters no matter where you go in the world. Asalamu alaykum to all of you.
+Muhammad Ali Enlightenment is when you feel that way towards all humanity, and not just other Muslims.

Could you type the Arabic text for "Trinidad is an island in the Caribbean" as he spoke it in the video? I learned to read and write before speaking so it helps if I can see the text IN ARABIC.
ترينيداد جزيرة في البحر الكاريبي
I think it can be translated literally as,
"Trinidad is an island in the Carribean Sea"
Ahh yes legendary videos. These were immensely useful to me when I was starting off.
The where are u from sounds almost exactly like the way we say it in hebrew. That's kinda cool

I’m getting the hang of it, despite the awkward conversation, “Your pen, brother, if you don’t mind.” “This is my pen.” That kind of reply doesn’t happen quite often, does it?
why is the word 'God' not translated? I thought 'Allah' means 'God'

Hello there,
I am Anurag.R.Simha. I am from Karnataka. Amidst my academics, I learnt some Arabic. I understood 95% of this conversation. Indeed, it was worth learning. My mother language is Kannada. Additionally, I speak English too. Since I got a feeling to learn quite a few more languages I picked Arabic as the choice. I've not yet made a halt to learning the language (I am also learning Spanish in parallel). I aspire to add more and more words to my Arabic dictionary.
By the way, these two gentlemen sound excellent.
Love from Karnataka....

Good video :) But did they use the standard arabic or a dialect? Because I´m trying to learn Arabic
It's very helpful as they speak properly and slowly as beginners could understand and repeat the role play. Jazakallah khairan Shiekh Munaf.

Amazing conversation for beginners.

But the one on the left when he said lahdha instead he said lahza which is a sudanese dialect. I think if he is trying to teach arabic he needs to drop it. Start traching fushah.
Jazakallah haira. For a first time trying to learn Arabic surprisingly I can recognise many words from normal ibada like salasa etc.

We watched this in class today. It was funny but also beneficial. Jazakallahu khairan for the video.
This is so helpful. Thanks a lot!
Its a good thing you don't have to speak backwards in Arabic like you do in writing!
+DarkReality Thats what makes this such a hard freaking language to learn. You basically have to learn 2 languages. How to write in standard arabic, and then how to speak in conversational arabic which is VASTLY different depending on the region.
yeah...try Chinese.
