@Jordan Orion I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Jonathan Shaw If it was one of the Netflix shows (i like those, but i’m glad it’s not one) everyone would love it. Instead most people don’t even give it a chance
The way Season 6 was I feel like season 7 is the second half of season 6. Kind of like the previous seasons how they had 2 distinct arc. Like LMD and Framework in season 4 or Lighthouse and present earth in season 5. But with a much longer break between them. Love that AoS noir logo. :D
Ooh theory time: I'm so down if the writers took a new spin on the whole FitzSimmons separation they do in every season. What if...FitzSimmons are actually not separated and the Jemma with the team right now is an LMD. Simmons's comment with Daisy about it being a long time could mean that FitzSimmons waited longer than she was letting on. They could be in their 50's in whatever timeline they were before they saved their team. Plus, Simmons gives off a pseudo-robotic vibe. Story-wise FitzSimmons are still separated in a sense that there is an extra Jemma helping them in their trip. Plus-plus, imagine the plot twist that FitzSimmons were never separated and they grew old together, helping their friends get home.
I only heard the theory about Jemma being an LMD and for like a second I was like naaa... but then I was like yeah it could be possible and then I was like what if it happened more time than Jemma is saying, is she older?, how older? but I think that's is as far as my mind went... but now reading your theory OMG, yes it can be possible and I love it and I almost cried... now I think I want this to be true because that would mean that my babies FitzSimmons had a life together and happy and still managed to figure out a way to help and save the team and the world, even tho it would hurt me a little that the rest of this family, the rest of the team couldnt grow older along side the other part of the family/team, meaning FitzSimmons, it would also be a pretty sick and cool plotwist and seriously I just want them to be happy so at this point I would take anything that could make that possible, they deserve it!
As soon as she scraped up the green stuff off the shoe, I immediately thought it was Captain America juice. I had totally forgotten that Red Skull was the first recipient of it!!! But what gets me is that Daisy could be so short sighted. Sure, she wants to kill a Malik because of the family he hasnt had yet. BUT come ON. If she is knowledgeable enough to blurt out about Red Skull, she MUST know that the serum is what creates Cap, and thus saves the world from the Chitari invasion. Fuck whether hydra comes about or not. Hydra's messed up science CREATES Cap, and that means the fate of the world. Why can't she see that?!?! Idiocy asking Deke to take that shot.
I had to pause the episode the moment Koenigg stepped in because I couldn’t stop laughing , first thought it was talbot cuz of the voice but that was so well done
Answering Eric's question at 29:13 the craziest moment for them to time jump to would actually be CA:TWS/AoS S1 E17. Imagine having to help either side of the Hydra/Shield conflict, while keeping both Team Cap& their younger selves unaware!
This season was filmed in 2019. The old style title card at the beginning showed the year in Roman numerals. Also, Patton Oswald's name was on screen at the start. At least you were surprised to see him.
During the show Elizabeth hedstridge (simmons) and chloe bennet (daisy) had a watch party on UA-cam. I was in heaven watching one of my favorite shows and talking with great actresses. I wish eric could have been there to see chloe.
Hi Blind Wave! Long time watcher, first time commenting and all that. I just wanted to say I found your channel because of Agents of SHIELD! It was right after Season 2 finished and I was really upset because Simmons got sucked into a space rock and like Eric, I'm a huge Fitzsimmons shipper. Plus, none of my friends were caught up so I had no one to talk to about it. I found your reaction and I'm so glad I did. I loved it so much I've watched all of SHIELD with you ever since. It really feels like the end of an era and I don't want SHIELD to end but I'm really looking forward to watching this last season with you guys!
Good premiere imo ...it really felt like the second half of S6 as opposed to the premiere of S7 though. I dig the period setting ..early 30’s New York looked good imo as did their costumes imo ...Mack really pulled off that suit!!. I like LMD Coulson so far , Clark Gregg did a good job in the scene where he’s trying to process all that has happened so far and I like him now having some abilities of his own since he always loved superheroes ..his smile after he found out he had super strength was a nice moment haha. I hope we get to see Fitz soon..I think Ian was working on another project at the start of the season but I’m not entirely sure about that. I liked the twist as to why SHIELD has to also save Hydra.. Malick’s father was a key factor to Hydra being as prominent as they became so without him there would be no need for the creation of SHIELD to combat them , those two organizations cannot exist without the other .
Because IT IS the second half of S6. It was splitted into two mini seasons hence why both seasons have 13 episodes only. Also the fact that this arc was established around episode 10 of the previous season.
@Blind Wave On your own time, y'all should check out elizabeth henstridge's youtube. she live streamed it with chole, jed, maurissa, clark, and jeff ward. was really funny.
Deke's theory lines up nicely with Endgame's time travel rules. The Avengers going back into the past and borrowing the stones then putting them back is "splashing around" in the past not changing overall history. But Loki stealing the Tesseract in 2012, or the Chronicoms taking over past Earth is the "dam" that splinters the timeline leaving them stuck in a new branch reality.
Exactly. I'm tiered of people saying it doesn't fallow the end games rules of time travel... also one correction - Tonys device was basically multiverse GPS that allowed them to go back to their own original timeline no matter what they changed in the past. So Avengers were not "stuck in a new branch". But rom what it seems AoS don't have that kind of GPS so whatever they do in the past it affects their future.
MetallicNole It was comfirmed by the directors of Endgame that when steve went back in time to have a life with peggy it was still in the same timeline
@@dx_ream9277 That's something I was confused about since the movie never explained how big a change was needed to create a new timeline. I just assumed that any change was capable of creating a new timeline.
Young Gideon Malick was played by Cameron Palatas, Wilfred Malick's actor is Darren Barnet. They do look similar though. Good opener, setting up the world and its rules but still plenty of AoS stuff. Craziest place they could go ? I'm still holding out for saving Davis (both from AIDA - we still haven't got that story - and from Izel). Hey, a fan can hope :).
The question at 43:00 In 1931, Abraham Erskine was still in the theory stage of his SSS. He did not complete it& inject Schmidt until Nov of 1940. A few days later, he was rescued from Castle Schmidt by Agent 13(Carter) and recruited into the SSR to perfect his formula for Project Rebirth. The green vials MAY have been an early SSS attempt by other groups- Hydra, Leviathan, even the Red Room. Per one comic origin for Natasha, she was part of experiments in 'Department X' as far back as 1928.
Season 6 threw me off but this opening episode felt like they're back to the way AoS used to. I'm excited to see where this will go now after watching this episode.
I feel we are in for an amazing final season, the writers seem to have a really solid idea of how the season will go with plenty of nods and Easter eggs in store. It seems like we’re in store for a true love letter to the fans.
No, that comes later with Freddie's sons Gideon& Nathan. The 'cowards way out' likely refers to Freddie's father jumping out a window during the stock market crash that preceded the Great Depression. Ernie Koenig says that 'old man Malick's debts were paid when he jumped out that window'
Your thinking of "Paradise Lost" (3x16). The flashbacks in that ep start with Freddy's funeral, so you never see him. (I checked and the actors playing the Malick brothers are not the same as Freddy. They do look similar, though.)
I recorded this season and spent the last two days binge watching it so I could watch the finale live. I literally cried when it ended. Such a great show, I can’t believe it’s over.
"it was a glitch" my ass lmao. It's SO Coulson to use whatever situation he's in to his advantage and enjoy it. Like never missing the opportunity for a joke. And that's why I love'im.
So I’m 80s percent sure that the machine May was in is an evolution of the cradle from age of ultron and that the stuff in the vials will eventually help produce the super solider serum given to the Red Skull. So some good MCU references already
I love how Shield has just become Legends of tomorrow XD. They were always similar but now its literally just Marvel legends. Both shield and Legends are my favorite parts of Marvel and DC TV/movies.
This was a really good review of the show. I’m glad I found you guys. I started watching Agents of Shield right before we went on the pandemic lock down. I really enjoy series. Although, l enjoyed S7 E1 flash in the past, I hope the entire season isn’t in the past. I was hoping to see Ghost Rider, Bobby, Hunter, Piper and Flint in the final season.
While the Battle of New York would be off the charts crazy, I'm thinking the craziest thing they could show is Steve Rogers back in the 40's or 50's to see his post-Endgame timeline. I don't know that Chris Evans would do it, but that would be something amazing to see!
The way that Deke is hearing Daisy saying all that stuff to that 1930s New York policeman, he knows that Daisy is the right girl for him. P.S. Agents of Shield is the best Marvel show on t.v.
You guys have to reaction to Continuum. A female cop travels 70 yrs in the past to stop terrorist from her time that want to change the future. She even has a little sonic device that unlocks doors and hacks computer systems
The flaw that I see in Aaron's MCU headcanon is that even though Thanos and co. came from the past into the future, they still arrived _long_ AFTER the Snap had already occurred and had then just been undone by Banner-Hulk's Snap. So the Snap has already happened in the S.H.I.E.L.D. timeline and its after-effects still exist within it even with the events of Endgame, as evidenced in Far From Home.
I love Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D. i hope another marvel show could make me feel as excited as this show does. Thank you Blindwave for continuing to follow it and love it as I do.
Aaron's theory of the team coming back to their present in Season 5 being sent to an alternate timeline were Thanos no longer exists contradicts the events of Season 5 itself. They reference the attack on New York, and literally talk about Thanos's invasion already in progress.
The two types of time travel work together with Deke's theory. Only big changes create branches, small changes get dragged along by the lines existing momentum towards a specific future. (almost exactly like Steins;Gate) Only damming it up makes a big enough difference. Seems to me that the stones hold reality together on a fundamental level, like the laws of physics working and other dimensions not flailing around. Like messing with the stones isn't the only way to make branches, it's just that the branches that are made that way are always doomed in unimaginable ways like weird lovecraft tentacle shit. Whereas all the other branches are at least basically stable, they won't have people randomly turn into custard for example.
There was a video with cast from i think talking about having finished filming the final season. It was some kind of convention. Maybe Comi Con but i thought it was earlier in the year.
Did he? Or did someone make it look like he did? Perhaps someone who wanted earth’s resources for themselves. Someone who was dropping Thanos’ name and faking attacks in order to get those resources. The confederacy
@@thewerewolff7248 I would think the Kree would have noticed his entire army disappearing in the five years between him travelling to the future and attacking earth, instead of being so afraid of him.
About the branch multiverse and timestream theory I think it coexists in the show. Just like you guys talk about. - Multiverse branch: apply when the infinity stones taken away. And maybe it will be further explore by the Loki series, in a sense that Loki is now making "waves not ripples", therefore causing to create new multiverse branch. - Timestream: apply on AOS currently "ripples not waves". And also, (I think) applies to the Steve who returned to Peggy. He went back and stayes in the original timeline and making ripples only. So there is 2 Steve at the certain time point in the timeline. At least for now, this is on my mind. Lol :)
Another examples would be: - Hawkeye testing the timetravel for the first time. He didn't change nothing big in the past so you can assume that him calling his own daughter in the past was always part of that original timeline - Bruce talking with The Ancient One didn't create a new timeline, only him taking away one of the the stones would do that And yeah it could explain Steve and Peggy (even tho most people disagree with that theory). Its all a matter of perspective really. If you assume that Steve going back in time to be with Peggy was always part of that original MCU timeline that would still fit with established rules in both End Game and Agents of Shield.
You guys mentioned that maybe this series takes place in the universe where Thanos left and went to Earth 616 in Infinity War and Thanos' invasion never happened here. I don't think that would be possible because they DID mention his ship being in orbit attacking Earth at the end of the 5th season while they were fighting Graviton/Talbot.
Eric: "I love how she's not immediately fixed, you know?" Literally 1 second later: "The Shrike is desolving your system and, by the way, here are some new arms that look like your old arms." Kinda surprised they didn't notice that 🤣
I actually thought that the liquid Freddy got looked a lot GH stuff, maybe. I know that everyone is talking about super hero serum, and I'd be down with that idea, but you never know.
@@NateSceneTV GHB 325- the serum made with Kree blood from the body Agent Carter confiscated from Werner Reinheart at the end of WW2. IT was used for project TAHITI. Personally, I think it's too early to be GH, I'm leaning towards either prototype super-soldier serum, OR perhaps they're touching back on the comics& it's some form of BW/Red Room enhancement. Besides, who is the woman in the Red Dress?
Aaron's theory works except for two key details. The Thanos in Endgame came from 2014, which would create a branch from that year. And Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S5 mentions Thanos during the time of Infinity War. I believe Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. simply exists in the Sacred Timeline but just never mentions the Snap because 1. It's irrelevant to the story, 2. Not everywhere would have been affected the same if the Snap was truly random, and 3. The writers of S.H.I.E.L.D. had no idea what was happening in Endgame and couldn't avoid the 5 year gap.
I'm going for the bootstrap paradox here. Coulson and co. inadvertently influence the decision to appoint Col. Phillips as director of the SSR. I have a feeling that this is not gonna be the last time we will see FDR in the show.
Dudes, the ONE scene you totally cut from your commentary was the real DAISY/COULSON connection scene about her apologizing for bringing him back and about the letter he left. My heart.... I can't take it! Would have loved to hear your thoughts as they really actually got a moment to talk, father to daugher. Awwwwwww...... EDIT: I watched your full uncut version. I think my heart burst worse than yours did at that scene. Well I'm a girl with daddy issues too.
I think May is going to wander outside without knowing what decade she's in or that there's another Coulson walking around. That's probably all there is to it.
I think there isn't a new timeline as the main point from endgame was 'Changing your past, doesn't change your present.' Killing Thanos from 2014 doesn't affect their present. otherwise why not just kill thanos to bring the heroes back? Hulk specifically stated that killing Thanos before the events of Infinity War wouldn't work
If Chromeacons are so advanced, why the hell didn't they hide the 4 bodies? FDR my favourite President of all time! Great seeing Patton Oswalt back. Glad not only one thought that was Terminator music. Okay that was a good twist with "Freddy." Let's end this series with a big bang!
Didn’t think they need to. They didn’t know SHEILD would follow them back. If anyone else discovered the bodies it wouldn’t have mattered. No one in this time period would be able to figure out who they were.
I love this show so much and you guys are hilarious, but now I have to watch agent carter so I don't hear spoilers lol I should have watch it when it came out lol my bad

The most underrated show ever.
It’s the unappreciated son of MCU television.

Yeah, the only other show which is even MORE undeservedly overlooked is Cloak and Dagger.
As much as I like the arrowverse shows, the writing, production values and characters are just much better on AoS.
I can confirm, no faced bodies does happen all the time here in Canada.

This season is gonna be like DC legends of tomorrow on steroids!! I’m ready
As soon as Malick's name was revealed, I thought... Could those vials be important to Red Skull's prototype super soldier serum? Am I over analysing?
My thoughts as well, though I just thought it was the Steve Rogers version. But it being Red Skull's makes sense.
@@karlwilker579 Especially since that liquid looked green, not blue.

You guys have to reaction to Continuum. A female cop travels 70 yrs in the past to stop terrorist from her time that want to change the future. She even has a little sonic device that unlocks doors and hacks computer systems
7:42 this is one of my favourite themes of shield
The avengers could have won in that timeline. There's an infinite amount of timelines so anything is possible.
How do you know the attack on New York was really Thanos in season 5. The confederacy said it was thanos but they’ve been shown to be untrustworthy.
"1930's baseball reference." Now, that's just the writers having fun, that kind of thing is a first draft script placeholder.
Agents of Shield has returned! I love the feel of them being in the 1930's and Hydra always comes back lol
There was a video with cast from i think talking about having finished filming the final season. It was some kind of convention. Maybe Comi Con but i thought it was earlier in the year.
WE ARE BACK FOR A FINAL RIDE!!!!!
So, Hazard is koenig's middle name!
Can we take a moment to appreciate the cgi, stunt, sets, costumes of the show.
Sadly, Aaron's headcanon doesn't work because Thanos did attack New York in S5, which is what the Talbo/Graviton/Destroyer of Worlds thing was for.
He was referencing the battle of New York that happened in 2012, not infinity war
My favorite episode since the framework
4:14 showrunners confirmed it
The chronicoms are so like terminators in this
It's good to be back!
Eric, quick correction: Daisy's uppercut was a Shoryuken. The Hadouken is a fireball.
FIGHT US ON IT!!!!
Lol :)
Another examples would be:
- Hawkeye testing the timetravel for the first time. He didn't change nothing big in the past so you can assume that him calling his own daughter in the past was always part of that original timeline
- Bruce talking with The Ancient One didn't create a new timeline, only him taking away one of the the stones would do that
And yeah it could explain Steve and Peggy (even tho most people disagree with that theory).
Maybe after Endgame, the events of Season 5 changed a little bit.
Eric: "I love how she's not immediately fixed, you know?"
Literally 1 second later: "The Shrike is desolving your system and, by the way, here are some new arms that look like your old arms."
Kinda surprised they didn't notice that 🤣
I not ready to the end of AoS
Can't wait for a groovy version of the logo from 60s-80s
I actually thought that the liquid Freddy got looked a lot GH stuff, maybe. I know that everyone is talking about super hero serum, and I'd be down with that idea, but you never know.
GH?
I'm so sad that Fitz isn't there. Can you imagine him in a sharp suit like Mack has on? 😍
at 11:20 Eric says Hadouken instead of a SF move that more closely resembles what Daisy did (Shoryuken) and idk why but that bothered me
I'm going for the bootstrap paradox here.
43:12 best line of the ep
The robot dudes fight like agents from matrix.
It’s great to be back
I am 2 weeks late but that's not how timetravel works in MCU.
Welcome to Level 7, Agents.
It was done before 6 season premiered.
I think May is going to wander outside without knowing what decade she's in or that there's another Coulson walking around. That's probably all there is to it.
10:26 Enter the opposite of silent precision.
Maybe they will run into pre-serum Steve Rogers.
I think there isn't a new timeline as the main point from endgame was 'Changing your past, doesn't change your present.' Killing Thanos from 2014 doesn't affect their present. otherwise why not just kill thanos to bring the heroes back? Hulk specifically stated that killing Thanos before the events of Infinity War wouldn't work
Daisy is such a smartass I missed her
This is a terminator story that make sense
You hear that you candy canes
Snowflake I hope comes back since she redeemed herself basically
And she’s in a cell on the Zephyr or the sky bus or lighthouse
two brothers, it's just called two brothers
Marvel’s Agents of Tomorrow
But seriously, I got serious Legends of Tomorrow vibes from this episode.
Huh, maybe I should watch that show!
Same here , got the „screw things up for the better“-vibe from it,
And LoT is DC's Doctor Who.
@@tjjordan4207 Bruh AoS just fallow what happens in MCU movies. It has nothing to do with DC
