Preordered this and the scorpion alien. This dog alien is due out in two months! I hope the doesn’t get delayed as I’ve read it’s been delayed already once or twice . Love the design. And why some people dislike alien 3 I don’t know, I think it’s a super film , very gritty grimy and yes hicks and newt die, but it’s space and crash landing.. it’s sad but very real.
incredible piece i really need to have this in my huge alien collection i have some sideshow alien statues but this is something else...they made 1000 pieces collector's edition and i think 1500 exclusive i hope to get one soon
Sisko. Did you get it yet? I got mine just three weeks ago. It’s amazing. The paint app is top notch, the best I’ve seen on a mass-produced Alien statue. Love the secondary head too. The base is very heavy. It arrived with no broken parts, no scratches. Everything fits just flush and right. So glad I went with this instead of the XM Alien, as it has been arriving at collectors hands...and many, while loving the design and sculpt, are sort of disappointed on the paint app, especially the gold grilled teeth. Too much yellowing tints throughout. They also say Jonsey the cat, looks like a Hallmark ornament not a realistic looking cat. Thoughts?
I love it! I have the DX version on order also. It's hard to get a sense of scale in these videos, how does it come across in person? I'm guessing it's fairly massive...
It was big, but not ridiculously big. I personally think this size is perfect for Aliens and Predators because you really get to see all the details. I can't wait to get it!

I have the Wolf Predator Legendary scale by sideshow. This prime 1 dog alien will it be bigger than my wolf or does it fit in scale with Wolf? I hope it’s a little smaller than Wolf. Your thoughts?

Yes i have this Ex on order with sideshow and i can't risk canceling it because the Ex is sold out already as i would just order it thru prime one.Adi vs prime one? I like the high gloss look on the Adi but don't like the look of the leg up and the price..Prime one looks great but should have a more wet look.
I preferred the Prime 1 version over the ADI. Both the pose and the paint looked better to me on the Prime 1. But the ADI was moulded from the original rod puppet, so it would be the most accurate to the movie. But that doesn't bother me.
I have some payments left. I just hope it comes unbroken because Sideshow isn't sending replacements on any Prime 1 pieces. My hush supes had a small defect but only got a small refund of course. My P1 Doomsday came in unharmed thank the lord jeebus.

800 EX.Sideshow have never made any Alien statue anywhere near this level. This thing is crazy good. Best of luck securing one.

The Dog Alien should be roughly the same scale as the SS Wolf.

Yeah, they were more shiny silver rather than chrome. But they still looked pretty good. The overall piece was fantastic.

No unfortunately, I didn't think to ask about the tail. If it has not shipped by the time Japan Wonderfest is on in July I can ask about it then.

I went just for Wonderfest.
I like the ADI dog body and pose more but I like the way they did the head on this compare the ADI.
The head on this one looked amazing, I prefer it to the ADI as well because it's more translucent and you can see a lot more detail.
The ADI is overrated and way overpriced. Prime 1 wins in my book.
