- After years of prodding, I was finally able to get TWA_Sister to try her hand at a model kit. She hadn't had any interest in anything I had before, but the glueless, paintless model of one the cutest pokemon characters from our childhood finally proved a good enough subject. What Bandai is able to do with plastic is incredible- honestly, these kits aren't really suitable for timelapse builds, they just go too quickly. while there are fit issues, overall everything clicks together. There are some very pronounced seams but they aren't too bad, all things considered.
Maybe now that she's got this under her belt, I can get her to touch an airbrush... I do still have a pile of Hasegawa eggplanes...

Model kit making, though an enjoyable hobby for the whole family, is not intended for children. My content in particular does not target children, as I strive to highlight techniques and materials beyond the scope of most young modelers. Everyone who has ever been featured on my content has been well over the age of 13. Even models such as that in this video are not being presented by me towards children- the kit consists of many small parts which could prove dangerous, and is being presented for the interest of adult collectors, modelmakers, and nostalgia-seekers.
