Honestly, Freya's biggest obstacle was her lack of confidence in her own voice (which is totally understandable). Her voice itself was perfectly fine once she gave it a chance to work. I have no idea how she agreed to do this video but she deserves all the credit in the world for going through with it. Singing in front of friends can be intimidating enough if you're not a singer, let alone having it filmed and uploaded.

It doesnt matter about accents when it comes to singing. The words just flow out in whatever way they do!
In order to get a proper flow, and melodic sound, our mouths tend to relax into a different placement than they are normally in. This cause most people to sound quite American when singing because the American way of speaking is a more relaxed placement. If you were to sing a song with more diction, you might notice an accent coming back, but otherwise most people default to American when singing.

For someone that doesnt sing, this is actually really good in the begging she was douting herself and saying it was bad but it wasnt it was actually good for a first time and after awhile she got it and the ending turned out really good after she practiced.

Came back to this after watching the stable dates episode, I only just now realised that this is Talia and Freya, it's crazy knowing that when I watched this I didn't know who they were
Learning to sing is one of the most difficult things I ever had to do and you really can’t have any sense of shame because you will do things like warm ups that are SO ridiculous 😂
yes it's actually hilarious. when i took singing lessons i had to imitate cat sounds while i was singing and it was so hard not to burst out laughing especially because this singing teacher was staring at me with this dead serious face the whole time
