It's the player that makes effects sounds good, not the other way around. Nobody thought that a fuzz pedal was a great sounding pedal, but it Hendrix made it part of his signature sound.
The difference between a good player and a bad player can be analyzed by their level of practice.
The difference between a good player and a good player can be recognized by a loser in his mother’s basement.
The player does make the effects good, but the effects has a MUCH greater and profound impact on the tone than any good player.
00:17 pedal makes its best to escape😂
The pedal scooting away for dear life in the first like 20 seconds💀💀💀
I have the same shoes as you. But in a different colour. Cool!
yeah it's the only thing I've found interesting on this vid !!
I love the part where he demonstrates how it’s all garbled in classic mode, then he switches to chords mode and it sounds exactly the same.
You might need to get your ears checked.
How does it sound with distortion though?
Now I can do Tom Morello tricks on Bass
Bass Prayers
How does it sound on a guitar?
just buy a red one
@@indobassgear2087 is this some sort of rich joke that I'm too broke to understand?
@@boseifrit5480 Red one is just guitar version lol
@@rtomas47 can you use the red on for bass? Or should I return it and get the blue one? Thanks I’m advance :)
@@mr.meeseeks7374 You can use it but the bass one would sound better tho
Very nice but I already have a POG, a bass octave on my pedal board I can get away with that, who knows in a future, good demo thanks.
If this guy was hired to sell this thing, he’s failing badly. This pedal sounds like sh..

Holy crap that sounds god awful. How does Justin make it sound so amazing?
Well I've seen his setup and he doesn't use the red one anymore. He uses this purple (blue??) version. My only complain is that the thing loses a bunch of tone when up and sounds all whiny like it's being overly compressed and loses that warm tone. He also has a bunch of other effects like flange, delay, Dist, and his di driver running when he uses this. I'm mainly referring to schism. But he uses the whammy in others like lateralus, the pot, and random parts in other songs and they sound great. Was the old one not as digital and didn't sound like some shitty moog pedal when active or something? This unit does track well and, from what I've heard, better than the 1st, but it just goes flat in terms of tone. Basically the further away the played pitch is shifted to the sounded pitch the worse it sounds. The whole step and even some of the 5th harmonies don't sound too bad, but the whammy side that doesn't keep the dry signal in it sounds awful.
strife725 He never used the red one. He uses the old bass whammy. Very similar color to this new one.
Turd Ferguson I've seen pics of his rig using the old red one. And I'm sure he uses this whammy now lol. By itself this thing sounds like crap. Idk why it's so hard to retain the bassy-ness and tone of your bass when it's active. It sounds like it's try to be a wah pedal too lol.
Because he uses it tastefully, its not that the old one had magic mojo, its just that bass effects sound awful outside of a musical context.
Chancellor use the XP-100
One question remains unanswered: why?
Awful sounds
I dont get all this stupid tryin to make a bass sound high, use the octave bass to make it sound even lower, that's what a bass does... low pitch
You’re out of touch
E KE
I’m looking for an octave up pedal with zero latency for live looping (one man band) application.
Listen to royal blood, it’s only bass, but with a pog to make guitar sounds
What if I wanna do Gary Holt sounds on the bass
Listen to Disposition by TOOL, that'll give you an idea of why someone would want that.
Why do some insist on playing bass as if it were a guitar? this adds nothing to the sound of the instrument. they have not understood anything about the bass
