Though it is expensive to operate but the effectiveness in our territorial defense is high. Operating cost was based on USA estimates but the military aid can cover the cost. Sonar and surface electronics warfare can be done at wider range.
Not gonna happen it’s too expensive to operate an Aegis ship in a day it’s system alone is expensive unless Philippines becomes rich then yes, but for now just stick to Korean made at least it’s credible deterrence when it comes to defending territorial waters!
