- This video details a beautiful home on the west side of Lipa City, Batangas. One of the newer subdivisions, Bloomfields Heights is a community filled with upscale homes and all the amenities of managed community living. We take a short tour of the subdivision and clubhouse areas near the end of the video.
Yes. It is a bit much for most of our budgets. Yet it is good to see the full spectrum of options. Most of us find it difficult to think of a nice home without a back yard. We want our barbecue and covered patio. Loved the dirty kitchen/utility area on this one. I know you want to do less real estate. But it would be nice to see what nice homes look like outside the subdivisions. Thank you for your efforts. Keep up the good work.

Nice well maintain house, I like to plant herbs in the backyard for cooking purposes,and somefruit trees.because it's healthy and economical not to keep buying from the market.

If you buy a lot in this subdivision (how much for a lot?), are you allowed to build any kind of house or are you limited to their designs and their builders? How about a prefab house, would they allow that?
Each subdivision has their own set of rules regarding design. The average cost per square meter in a gated subdivision for a lot can be 5-8K pesos. Thanks for the input , we appreciate it 🙂

Too rich for my blood. The whole idea for me is to retire in a small frugal - more thrifty place - so as to be able to better afford to travel and see many of the beautiful wondrous places over there ! -- A cheap easy to clean and cool apartment will suit me just fine. My personal 3 wheel tuk tuk to keep the rain & sun off will serve for much exploration - perhaps even for an island hop occasionally ? --- Maybe - one day (?) you can show a 7500 -- to 10K modest apartment ?

That 12 million is PHP which is only about 200k USD. If we can buy 5 houses for 200k USD in Spain, maybe we need to look into investing there. Maybe your idea of a house is much different than my idea of a house too. :-)

Nice house but to high of a price in my professional opinion. I can build the same house there for 25-30 percent of the asking price. So, it might be a good area to invest in, to build and sell if that house sells for anything close to the asking price. But again, like you said, it is also several years old, so most would buy a new house over this one. It is kept clean, but it is a small house with a tiny kitchen for that kind of money. I would expect something much bigger. Thats over $200,000 USD. That much money for a house there will buy a mansion in a high-end area. This is Lipa! Not the Beverly Hills of PH. The rent sounds much more reasonable out there. As an investor I would not want to build and rent out there the numbers don't work. But I would be very interested in renting a place for a home base when I return to PH. The rents you have mentioned are very reasonable. Thats another reason I feel the asking price is way too high, they won't rent for much. So how do we find all the rentals are they listed somewhere? Thnak you for sharing!
