Calibos is the son of Thetis, the goddess of the sea. He had to marry the princess Andromeda and the next ruler of the kingdom of Joppa, and shall prevent Perseus from reaching his goal many times. He was distorted by Zeus as punishment for hunting and everything living around The Wells of the Moon, including entire sacred herd of flying horses (except Zeus destroying the Pegasus stud). For this and many other offenses, Zeus punishes him, transforming him into a satyr-like creature, which is then shunned and forced to live as an outcast in the swamps and marshes.........:Neil McCarthy (Lincoln, Lincolnshire, July 26, 1932 - Fordingbridge, Hampshire, February 6, 1985) was a British actor. He also was a gifted linguist and pianist, though he was trained as leraar.McCarthy played almost 90 roles in films and on television. He played guest roles in including The Saint, The Avengers, Doctor Who and Some Mothers Do 'Ave' Em.
Known roles he played in the miniseries Shogun and the TV series Catweazle (in which he appeared as Sam Woodyard, the farmhand of Mr. Bennet). He was also seen in films like Zulu, Diamonds Are Forever, The Hill, George and Mildred and Where Eagles Dare. He also starred in Who Pays the Ferryman ?.

janneke, F that moron Bear-whatevster. The music is beautiful and at least on my end, makes me feel more pity for Calibos. He was conditioned from birth to be who he was. He loved to the best of his ability and was angry when he lost his love. It was all Thetis' fault. Andromeda softened him. Such a sad story. Nice video. :-)
