Clicked for their cover, stayed for this song. Awesome job; they're underrated!
Enjoy! I got to see them live in Cardiff, UK just before the first lockdowns, couple of hundred people in the venue, so amazing
THIS.
This Version of the Song is awesome and a lot better than the cover (after MAPS I hoped for a Cover that will blow my mind...)
Exactly! right...?
Same, what a fucking tune!!
For anyone who doesn't know...
'Running with the Hurricane" is the name of a song by Redgum. Georgia's father, Hugh McDonald, was in Redgum (among many others). Sadly, Hugh lost his battle with cancer in 2016.
I believe that's why "Running with the Hurricane" is the album name and song name. The song isn't a cover. I highly suggest you listen to Redgum's. It's very fitting considering Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Loving the addition of the piano into their music, lifts it to a new level.
Both Camp Cope and Georgia appear to be in a really rich vein of song writing at the moment, cant wait for the new album!
This is beautiful. Georgia’s voice is in such a sweet spot. Love the way she looks over to the other girls at the end as if to say, yep, we nailed that!
I think this might be my fave Camp Cope song 💕
100%
It's up there for sure. Do people who like camp cope only exist on the internet?
@@jasonanno3881 I think so 😥
I was lucky enough to see them live so I know there's a few people who know what's up but I've never heard anyone be like oh yeah camp cope, I love them. Maybe people are just stupid
Absolutely 👍
I love this video. The lead vocals are like Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse had a baby. The assistant librarian on base is a god damn animal and quirky mcbeans on guitar is doing some solid harmonizing. And the drummer is everything good about 90s rock in a blunt.
i saw your comment on camp cope’s spotify, and came back to comment here after remembering it being on this vid, congrats, you’ve made it!! haha
your descriptions are spot on, 10/10
@@ellyisjelly1504 Aye saw it on spotify, knew it was this vid
Lol A+ review
Great voice, great music.
Love it. Honest Aussie music.
how is this even BETTER when it's LIVE!!!! camp cope rules
Great song. Gives me such a nostalgic vibe...summers driving down to the river, hanging with friends.
I love Camp Cope, looking forward to their new album.
My heart just beats differently when it comes to camp cope
I really like it. It's a great fit. So much energy in the singing.
I'm so jealous of her melodies

Easily listened to this song 100 times since it came out. Great live version!
It's weird to think about someone else just constantly listening to this song like I've been.
What a voice! What a band 🙌
So good, love all girl bands!💜
Love the vocals and playing by all
Georgia Maq's voice is amazing!
Everything about this brilliant
Well, that was a whole lot of whats good about being alive. (cheers for the upload)
This woman has my Heart ❤

Yes ❤❤❤
KD has no right going that hard with the basslines but we're grateful for it
I love you girls.....You girls are so talented .....The best voice in the world.
Such an incredible tune.
i love camp cope so much
How little effort it takes for her to pull them notes. Incredible.
Like a version introduces me to so many artists, gives a little taste of their live character and attitude, and then I go check them out!
So good.
Much love from QLD.
Am I weird to get rock Missy Higgins vibes? Haha. Love her voice and this song!
Incredible voice
This is such a great band, more people need to check them out

Could you get back together and throw us a big track
❤🎉
Thank you
dude their new album is so damn good
Seriously awesome 😂🤣
LINDO DEMAIS
Is this the same Woman who sang Footscray Station? Awesome Voice and the crew too❤
The band should give a lyrical nod (as they did several times in the booklet to their first album) to Chumbawamba's "Jacob's ladder": "The only way up is down" is very similar to "The only way out is up". They seem to have covered Chumbawamba quite often, when they were on tour.
i had no idea georgia could play piano too, wow
🍃It,s so impressive!! Thank you!!
U might of split up but u won my heart xx
i love this lead singer......i would marry her
Show 'em Kelly!
🤘💜
Wow this is great , new guitar player now ?
Who’s the new member?
@Alysha Lita Jennifer Aslett, used to play with San Cisco
Plays in Stella Donnelly's band as well
She a little weapon the singer
Sadly the rest of the world won't know that this ever happened.....
I miss the piano, & everyone else-
disappointing that this wasn't a cover of redgum's song of the same name
This song is named after the Redgum song. The singer's father was a member of Redgum.
Gutsy performance by a telented group... my anthem now..
Anyone else REALLY disappointed with this cringy boring evolution of camp copes music??? Such a shame 👎👎👎👎👎👎
en fucking core
wanna go for a drink?
love peter pan xx
