Thomas Bergersen is a composer so it's so normal to asdwe he can do every type of music genre but his professional genre is orchestral music so he don't do jazz or djent.

MrTsetso I have to say, so far the reaction to this track has been more positive than some of the others. I’m not a musician, but as an artist it frustrates me when people condemn someone’s art as “not being as good” just because they don’t like it
MrTsetso I don’t have a problem with people not liking artistic choices or giving constructive criticism, after all that’s how art is improved. But in this case people are acting like TSFH has sold out for not releasing orchestral tracks. I don’t think folks realize how much time it takes to write and produce an album. Bergersen even said on Facebook that these are old tracks that they’re releasing as a placeholder until their next album Dragon comes out sometime early this year. Apparently there’s also a sequel to Sun in the works that I’m super excited about. Sun is my favorite of his solo work
To his credit this is one of the best of this genre I've heard. It's melodious and very well made. I just don't like this genre so it's more like the best of a seiries of train wrecks.

I’ll only listen to it willingly if it’s done by TSFH, Hidden Citizens, or Ivan Torrent and even then it’s hard to find individual pieces I really like. To be fair though, I’m a pretty big Bergersen fan so he could probably rework a nursery tune and I’d enjoy it 😂

Why did I miss this? I love all songs from TSFH. Thomas makes music that reaches my heart and sets the mood for any dream that comes. I used their music as inspiration for a set of two books that I am writing. TSFH music is timeless.

Its not about challenging yourself. It is simply about the composer wanting to express him or herself through different kinds of sounds. Perhaps a different kind of musical style. It should not be a challange. It should come about naturally and freely.

They haven’t been released due to an inavailability of recording venues. He’s releasing these to keep us happy while we wait Edit: Thomas and nick are also working on an album called “Dragon”

When this piece was released i was very sceptical to this. At first hearing i didn't feel that song and i leave it be, while i said it was "okay". I went back for older songs and later for Dragon Album, which was - as expected - awesome. Time has passed, about one year, many things changed... And i heard that song again around 2020 january... and i absolutely fall in love with this. Same history was with "In Orbit". Two Steps From Hell are just so magical, that there will be always something for you, no matter what you like, what is your mood, and what happen before in your life and i absolutely love that. Once again TSFH proved me, that there are no bad songs from them. And i can be seen as a hardcore fan after what i will say, but i will say it anyway. For me they're the one and only in world, that doesn't have even one song that i wouldn't like. Thank you Two Steps From Hell, for the best music in the world. (for me, and most likely a lot of other people :) )
