Great story! It shows that you don't need to be a cash loaded airliner pilot or a former fighter pilot to fly these beautiful and rare old birds. In the world of aviation it is all about passion and people! Thanks for sharing this story, keep living it! 😊

It is completely about passion and the drive to keep going. I'd also echo the point that it's so important to enjoy the journey!

You also need a modicum of drive and bags of determination.

The narrator of this is my new personal hero, if I only have the for forethought and insight of this young individual. His intro is my story, but he followed his passion where I did not.

Great story. Similar story to mine. I went from instructing in a Cessna 152 to flying a Strikemaster Jet doing aerobatic joyflights for the public.

Truly inspiring.. As a teen I had a few trips i the De-Havilland Chipmunk, AEF & aerobatics. My great uncle was a Lancaster pilot with 100 squadron so I have always been deeply interested in flying, particularly passionate about the Spitfire.
Luckily my parents live in Gosport, and just up the road is Daedalus/Solent airport where the Spit academy often fly from.. I can stand and watch them all day 👏🏼🥰

Great story, sound and video. Was going to get my instructor a hour in a Harvard when he gets me solo. Spitfire is a bit too dear! On a separate subject what happened to the Blackshape Prime video, saw it ages ago on my other account but it's disappeared. I was going to ask if I could sample with credit, I'm trying to do a vid about CAP 2163.
