It finally makes sense! The "Nashville Notation" helped me understand the augmented and diminished. Technically, it is actually a G Major augmented and a G Minor diminished. Major and minor set the base chord. Augmenting and diminishing adjusts the major and minor chord! So cool!

This is great, I’d love to see one of these that hyper focuses on each chord family, if I even said that correctly. I.e. just a G7 or 7th in general
