- Yup, you heard right! I destroyed my Chanel trainers by not wearing them. Sigh. And this video is all about that and whether or not i think these pricey trainers are actually worth the crazy prices we pay. But most importantly, please don't make the same mistake i have made. I kept them thinking 'i'll use them one day, they're just a backup pair' and now look at whats happened. We live and we learn and i hope you enjoy :)

OMG recent Chanel quality...the materials they have been using have just been awful. Especially given all the price increases. Tx for sharing!! I've pretty much left Chanel except for very rare and exceptional items as I'm tired of all their quality issues at the price they charge....

I agree, my Chanel sneakers are some of the worst sneakers I own. In fact, I reach for them very rarely. They really pretty though. Nike and Adidas blow them away but, my favorite designer ones are actually the Hermès day sneakers.
I used to be a Chanel super-fan but now I've grown so tired of this brand! The quality issues of the shoes and bags, accessories and custom jewelry it's insane! And they just increase the price on everything!!! Plus their stock even in Paris is so limited and the SAs so unhelpful, border line rude. I'd rather spent my money on DIOR or Hermes at this point! Chanel has become a joke!
Isn't it just?! I think what surprises me most is the amount people still go crazy for the brand even with all the quality issues 🫣 xx

My first pair did exactly that. So i think it’s either get like that over time unfortunately, or can not be wipe it down with anything wet cause of the moisture. I just left it alone. My second pair is still new so it haven’t got to that point yet.
Leaving your shoes without wearing them for some time is the worst thing you can do with any shoe. I've had some really nice pairs of shoes that I have not worn much because they were more for occasions or for nicer weather than where I live and when I've gone to wear them the following summer, they just fall apart with the first wear. So always give your shoes some use, even if it's every now and then.

do they brake in cus they hurt my toe and I got a half size up asking before I return
Which toe are they hurting?..If it's your big toe then they're too small, if they hurt your baby toe then there's some possibility that they could stretch a little sideways, but not lengthways 🤍xx
I have the exact same black and white pair and after wearing them a couple of times, they look worse than my Vans! The reflector part has peeled off and they look so worn! No more Chanel trainers for me!
So true I just purchased the runners in the burgundy and grey (had to hunt these down on the pre loved market as they are not available in store anymore) paid about £700 for them and after 3 hours of normal wearing and being careful with them a part of the reflective piping on one of them ripped off…. This is now irritating me so much, I get that with wearing eventually you will see wear and tear but 3 hours?!
PREVENTIVE MAINTEANCE , AFTER YOU WEAR THEM CLEAN THEM PUT TISSUE BACK IN THEM AND BACK IN BOX.. THEY ALSO HAVE BOUTIQUES TAHT ACTUALLY SPECIALIZE IN CLEANING DESIGNER SHOES
I will never buy the ones with suede. You have now the new cruise collection with gold, silver or pink. The quality on those are much better without suède

I have the older model with the larger logo on the bottom of the sneakers I only wore them two times and their fine. I think the quality went down as the new models were made
