I am so sick of these people taking out their emotions and personal issues on random people in public places
Then make sure your elected leaders ensure access to affordable mental care, don't slash the budgets. Make sure gun safety laws are passed so we have the potential for less mass shootings. It isn't about adding more guns, we need to make sure that people who show these red flags or seem mentally unwell or compromised get the treatment and care they deserve over an easy access weapon.
@@Jedda678 Or just get rid of the criminals who are that mentally unhinged they're willing to murder random people for little reason than emotional breakdowns? A few bullets fixes one person so a dozen more aren't killed by someone's hurt feelings.

I’m sure anyone would probably do this unless it’s your child or mother js we don’t know how we would react in a situation like that.
It's also entirely possible that the woman had a recent injury or surgery and normally isn't in a wheelchair. Maybe the other woman wasn't used to her being partially immobilized so subconsciously her first instinct was to just run and the woman would be able to do the same. But it could have gone the other way and she thought "F this. We're way too close to the shooter and I'm in front of the wheelchair." People just do what they do when they are part of a stressful event like this and unfortunately sometimes face an undesired outcome after the fact. Luckily it ended up being the best case scenario given the circumstances.

He did well, but technically (now don’t get upset), he could have responded better. Most law enforcement agencies teach their officers to find cover when gunshots occur. A better tactical response would have been for him to immediately close the distance between himself and the shooter and engage/neutralize the shooter first instead of looking for cover & concealment before engaging. Speed to engage an attacker is the best defensive weapon for stopping a threat if one has the skill set/tools to do so.

@@benjammin4840 if you were in the airport when this happened you would be kissing the floor that this cop walks on. shut the hell up
PLEASE PROMOTE THIS OFFICER! This is how to respond to an active shooter. A TRUE HERO!!!!
WOW 👏 that officer saved so many people lives, great job, Thank you for all that you do 💕
Thank you
Man this makes me so emotional to watch, I see so many kids too. You really never know when this can happen these days 🥺
Same
I didn't even take my kids to the fair this year 😞 I'm always looking around in stores and crowded places now it really has shook people to the core
unfortunately the realistic chance is there any time you go to a highly populated area in this country.
Actually we do what will happen. There will continue to be shootings and mass shootings, because America has no control over guns. No surprise to me. But it is sad to see
I won't go to any crowded places anymore. I worry when I have to go into the grocery store! This is insane!
looks like he was already going to talk to her before she started popping off. good work
She’s the only one in the airport without a bag and she’s covered… the camera man made that call to him.
Watch when they are going into what looks like the bathroom..watch the blonde lady react.. her face says something is wrong..or maybe not.
Yes the office said that he saw her carring a weapon and was trying to keep it all calm, since there were so many around.
What about the driver who dropped her off? Hope they find him.
Or was it an Uber/Lyft?
@@danieltracy7136 I'm going to say yes. Just by the video.
I'm proud of that officer for not running and just leaving the people, he's a true hero he just found cover real quick and engaged and took matters into his hands like he was suppose to, I tip my hat off to u sir.
I was literally just there flying back from Louisiana. This world is crazy and I hope everyone is ok
Please tell me that's not her crying especially after she intended to hurt everyone else. Officers this case was handed exceptionally well.
Dey be attacking the basketball woomin!!
i imagine if you got shot, regardless of why, you would be in enough pain to cry too
How do you know her intentions? She fired shots in the air. Maybe she was hoping the police would kill her.
@@Sharon930 if she wanted suicide by cop she wouldn't go to a crowded area with a gun. She would make a call on herself
I think she was hit
Amazing! He didn’t even hesitate, just made sure he was in a secure location before taking down the threat. Hats off to him and the rest of DPD. This is how it’s done.
Wearing a sweater in Texas in the middle of summer. Must have a bullet proof vest on. Probably gonna be used to be traded for that WNBA player in Russia I bet.
Unlike Uvalde, which they waited 77 minutes to shoot the gunman.
You're congratulating the cops for literally just doing their job? How low are your standards?
@@VoidDragon82 for Texas right now… pretty low…
yeah, first rule.. take cover..
Great Work!!!
this cop deserves recognition. he saved many lives.
This looked like suicide by cop. Gun pointed up until the cop shot.
Yeah, just doesn’t make any sense what else the motive would be. Then again, why involve anyone else?
I was looking for this comment
I thought I saw her aim at an officer 👮♀️.
@@janetheteach she did
@@janetheteach That is literally how suicide by cop attempts work... They aim with no intentions to harm but know the cops wont take the chance 99% of the time. Mass shooters dont shoot into the air when in the middle of a crowd of potential victims.
Absolute Hero
Officer saved hundred's of Lives
Thank you Sir
Probably not. She didn’t look like she was trying to shoot or aim at anybody. Just put her gun straight up and started shooting the ceiling. Probably only took the ceilings life though
She was going for death by cop.
Also, your not gonna kill hundreds with a handgun 🤪
Nah maybe 10 or so but still awesome:
@@TestTest-ei4gi you can't just assume that though. if she crazy enough to bring a gun in the airport who knows what might have come next
Please wear a condom.
Deep respect and many blessings to Officer Cronin for his quick assessment and heroic actions to protect the folks in the terminal. And let us not forget about his colleagues who so capably backed him up.
I'm always so impressed by the police. Imagine dedicating your life to protecting others and risking your own life every time you go to work??? They deserve massive respect for what they do. They should be honoured every year and given as many benefits as possible to say thank you Doctors, nurses, military, fire service too. When you can choose to be anything you want, and you choose to do these kind of jobs that carry so much risk, it's says a lot about the kind of people they are.
That officer is incredibleeeee Holy hell he reacted so fast and saved lives
What lives ? Who shoots in the air to kill people. Have that ever happened in the history of gun violence? The crazy lady probably was just attempting to rob again
IKR I mean sure he was just standing a few feet away from the terrorist but normally Texas cops are known to curl up into the fœtus position until the danger goes away
@@angelestorres6334 just Uvalde. Texas is a HUGE state. Not every department are cowards like those clowns are. You’ve clearly never been to Texas.
I think thst woman was going for suicidal rampage! Since day 1 i think that was her intenttion? 🤔🤔🤔
That cop should be given a Medal and some real rewards for his bravery and service. Well Done Sir !!
Wearing a sweater in Texas in the middle of summer. Must have a bullet proof vest on. Probably gonna be used to be traded for that WNBA player in Russia I bet.
A medal and some real rewards?? Did he not preserve the lives of possibly Dozens of people?? What does a medal mean?? His rewards are still breathing
@@organizeandrise1728 beautiful said...
actually the only reason he is still alive is that she fired in the air instead of at him. No idea why she did that, but it was the reason for her being the one on the floor and not him.
@@Dingusdongus257 What does a medal mean?? Increase their quality of life! A medal is useless! Run track or join the army if you want medals
What heroes. Thank you
Thank you officers for your bravery service
The little girl pictured on the left when the shots fired scrambling away just broke my heart. She didn’t realize what was going on and her family just left and then she dropped to the floor and tried to scramble to them 😔
Only because this incident turned out good can I say that the way she tried to gain traction on the floor was pretty hilarious 😂
@KeeganBrown I went back to 👀 just because you said something and you’re right HILARIOUS!! Thank goodness everyone is ok.
Or the woman right next to the shooter that ditches the old lady in the wheelchair.
You are my people lol… I felt terrible for laughing. But only after I saw that everything was ok
❤❤
As soon as the gun goes off, I had tears. Watching everyone around here and how crowded the room was, thank god she shot up and not at someone. Seeing everyone’s reaction is so heartbreaking. Great job to the officers on this one.
I am saying prayers for all that had to go through this stupid selfish act. The trauma some of these people are going to suffer for years after experiencing this is sad. Also, prayers to the officer for reacting so swiftly and protecting all the citizens. Bless you officer.

@@ashleydaniel3215 innocence gone? How do you know she doesnt hear shots throughout the night where she lives? Someone shot in the air…sure it’s a little scary but innocence gone?
Are you nuts?
Thank you DPD for making the state, metroplex, department, and your profession proud. May your names be found in academy textbooks of what to do in an active shooter situation. People were able to quickly go about their lives rather potentially than losing their lives, that day. I know you bear a burden, especially after an officer-involved shooting, that the rest of us hope we never have to relate to. May God bless you and your families and heal the damage caused by someone’s terrible choice, that day.
The police did an amazing job responding to this unfortunate event.
