- The Amerindians contributed the first piece of a complex and unique puzzle that is the culture of Trinidad and Tobago. Their legacy is still apparent today via our cuisine, utensils and naming of towns and will be present for generations to come via the construction of an Amerindian Village and Heritage Center in Arima. Watch us do a small invocation to the great spirit of Tamushi for the blessings of our paradise.

Not to many Amerindians on that island most of the people are Sub Saharan African And South Asian
When slavery ended everybody was mixing so yes when slavery ended they did not kill out all the natives
