00:43:15 Watch Shida's standard pose for serve 00:55:08 Watch the rally that ends the second game in a grand manner with two jumping smashes from Matsuyama and Shida.
At the risk of seeming very nerdy, I notice that the Japanese training favors typically using a thumb grip when defending against a lifted shuttle (so far, so normal, as most adopt a thumb grip to defend potential downward shots from their opponent as this permits good defense against smashes and drops to both the backhand AND forehand side). What is unusual in the Japanese approach is that, if the shuttle is hit back as a mid-height smash to the defender's armpit/hip area (a widely used counter against an opponent already committed to a low backhand defense) instead rolling the racket to a basic or pan handle grip to play an over-arm action forehand, they keep the thumb grip, bend the knees to drop the body down and hit with a backhand thumb grip on the higher forehand side instead. A very clever adaption of the normal approach to this return as this saves the need to change the grip at short notice. This seems to be very widely adopted among the Japanese women's doubles players and probably comes from the top of their coaching staff.
yeahh i agree.. Japanes players are so good in defence and nice to see them play backhand grip while the shuttle go to their armpit. Until now im very amazed how they do that😳 and my favorit for this action is Mayu Matsumoto, she's doing this soooo efortless..
nagamatsu good defense when balanced but not under pressure. matsushida hit drops in channel to break balance and put nagamatsu under pressure. so nagamatsu stood closer to net in defense as an answer. matsushida answer with speedy offense. ends up the winner. more power to both pairs.
逆👇️勝ちの志田松ペアに感動します。今までこんな可愛いペアがバドミントンの選手の中に居たとは最近知りました。見ているだけで楽しくなるような気分です。
The way Japanese players nod and bow before each game starts is very adorable 😊
matsumoto doesn't bow 😂
@@wattfadad688 She does, but barely. She's too tall. 😂
@@ammarharith5512 she used to back in the days but not anymore.

每一球分分鐘七八十個回合,累死了,還悶。
Shida 是真可愛😊❤
29:25 what a rally
5:47 I know that SHIDA's right arm has beautiful curves; but look at her left: it is noticeably thinner...
This is quite normal among racket sport players. The racket arm is going to be more developed through both play and training.
It looks kinda cool, in a quirky way. 😂
Please! Why do you use video thumbnails that already suggests the winner? Do you think everyone can watch these games live?
seru banget ini
Why don't they use 100ZZ instead of NF700 ... since they smash so much???
NF700 is better at making high clears
I mean if you watch closely, Nagahara is using the 100ZZ. 😅
まつながペアは態度が悪すぎてほんとに応援しようと思えない。そのかわりにしだまつペアは態度いいしシャトル取りに行くしプレーも迫力ハンパないから応援するしかない
Cặp Nagahara/Masutomo chưa lấy lại đc phong độ , năm 2023 ko phải của họ
