Tithe Teaching Tyrants teach that Abraham Tithed off of All he had, but fail to mention that he didn't Tithe off of all he owned and processed, but that it was actually off of all the spoils he had won in his victory from war.

Thank you so much for this. Your videos are the first to help me really understand this topic. God is really working through you. Amen. I just posted on another video about being a obligation in a sense and here you go saying something similar lol praise God. Thank you

The tithe that Abraham gave was a contribution not of income but free will.

Thank you! I don't know why this is so hard to understand. Pretty neat to see the connections between Abraham & Jesus.

After Abraham paid the tithe, he gave the remaining 90% to the king of Sodom. this became clear that Abraham didn't need the spoils. In fact, Abraham said he won't take any of the spoils for the people to say they have made him reach(Genesis 14). God made him rich before he paid the tithes.

McGray study my brother appreciate it another thing is that Jesus said that he is the bread that came down from heaven that's the reason why God curse the ground because God is the one who makes it rain for the crops to grow this is what Malachi 3:10 is talking about when he says that I will open the windows of Heaven and I will keep the (Locust/Devourer) away from your crops. everytime that God send a curse to the nation of Israel it was always through the land another reason why Jesus is the tithe cuz he died on a tree and not only that but when he was pierced blood and water came out of his side which indicate that he is are that he is our tithe UC water have a big significant in the Bible this is why without God giving us water we would not be alive today remember in Genesis and the spirit of God was Soaring Over the waters

Also, animal sacrifices were before the Mosaic Law, but definitely not for the New Covenant. The New Testament teaches free will giving from the heart and actually admonishes the guilt tripping that most people use to persuade others to Tithe, "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." ( 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ) Free will giving, I believe, is part of reaping what you sow. Also, most importantly, free will giving is something God uses as part of our sanctification to the image of Christ.

War is a business, therefore Abraham gave from the money he made in his business..
AND...I read Hebrews 7:4 and it doesn’t say that Abraham’s tithe was invalid. Paul also states that he tithed to the greater priest, who as we all know is JESUS.
    Too easy!!🤷🏽‍♂️

Hello Panda. In what dictionary did you read that “war is a business”? Only liars go about making outlandish claims like that. Manipulators do what you are doing to divert the subject from the Bible to your own understanding. As for Abraham’s tithe, you’re the only one that has mentioned anything about Abraham’s tithe being “invalid.” Take my advice, read the Bible if you want to know what Abraham’s business was.

War at that time was not business for Abraham .

Of course Abraham's tithe was valid. But here are a couple of things about it, and why it does not parallel with the false "tithe" that is taught today:
      1. It was a ONE TIME action. Abraham is never recorded before or after this giving to Melchizedek or anyone else.
      2. It was a choice; neither God nor Melchizedek demanded that Abraham give 10%
      3. Abraham did not keep the other 90%, he gave it back to the original owner, the king of Sodom
The only thing resembling the modern prosperity gospel tithe, is the percentage - 10%. To look at Abraham's tithe on the spoils of war, and draw a conclusion that thousands of years later Christian's are required to give 10% of their salary, is very poor hermeneutics.
(I realize that I am responding to a year-old comment, hope you are well and that you have studied this out for yourself and found the truth by now.)

Hi Mr. Ortiz, Me again, I thought this might be of interest to you. Most people have never heard that tithing even predated Abraham tithing to Melchizedek, by some pagan religions in history ! I happened to be in the hospital one day several years ago watching the History channel and they had a program on showing that some pagan religions had the practice even before Abraham of tithing. The questions that might arise from this then: 1. Did Abraham tithe to Melchizedek because that was a predated practice among some pagan religions that he was aware of ?, and 2. If ministers tell people to tithe because it was before the law then are ministers asking people to tithe based on pagan practices before the law and then to practice what pagan religions did ? I think these are a couple of interesting questions relating to this for people to think about.
Here is a website discussing the pagan practice of tithing, faculty.gordon.edu/hu/bi/ted_hildebrandt/otesources/01-genesis/text/articles-books/snoeberger-title-dbsj.pdf
