Listening to this awesome music takes me to a country I have privilege of calling it the lannd of my birth. I was born in a mother/baby home (orphanage) in Roscrea,Tipperary. I only spent 15mos in Ireland and the last 63 years in America. I was blessed to be given to two amazing and loving people my parents Mary and Joseph O'Donnell along with 2 older brothers Kevin and Michael and little sister Pat. All of us adopted, I said Mom and Dad were AWESOME. Myself the only one an American born in Ireland. Thanks mom and dad Love you Always.

Ireland’ story is so tragic, from the plantation by the British paying Scots to settle in the North and breed out the natives in the 1600’s through to partition in 1921, the civil war, the troubles to today, still divided , still a broken country like my own 🏴- which is even more tragic , the only country in history to vote AGAINST its own independence 😂🙈😢

I've never been to Ireland. I'm not an Irishman. Nonetheless, when I hear this music, it transports me to 1916, to the 1920s, the 60s even. I AM there clutching my rifle alongside my comrades and waiting for the ambush to begin when that lorry full of the Queens worst comes around the corner. Thank You from my eternal soul for being who you were and for making this music to chronicle it all. You have inspired an old American Rebel to keep on the fight with your tales of better men and women who believed in something real & true and gave everything to gain it. I know it's kind of warm and squishy, but I tear up when I listen to some of these. Easy to believe in past lives when I listen to Rebel tunes.

English, which is my native tongue, had become the national language of Ireland.

I remember 38 years ago when my husband and I and were graced to have visted Ireland. I became captivated with the culture, the music, the beauty of this country. I finally realized and appreciated that I was 25 %Irish. I love the stories that my grandmother told me about the county her parents were from in Ireland. When i wanted to play the violin at nine years old, with no encouragement from my parents, my grandmother was not surprised- "you have Irish blood, of course you are going to want toplay the violin." My trip made me proud that I have Iriah blood in me- I only wiah I had more!!!!
I was in bellshill ( where I grew up) in 1966 and met a big Irish man, he was working in the old scrape yard. I asked him when he was last in Ireland, he replied to me"six minutes ago"!!!I was only 16 at the time, now 74 and know now what he means!!

I can't wait to get back to Celtic Park. I often tell my wife that the birth of our son is the second greatest day of my life. The best was St Johnstone in 98 to stop the huns grabbing 10! No matter how many games I have been to, nothing compares to that.

My grandad was in the war of independence I never knew him because he died before I was born. I was born in England but all my ancestors were Irish. I'm 100% DNA Irish. This music reminds me of my granddad even though I've never seen a photograph of him but I know about his life.😢

My grandad was in the war of independence I never knew him because he died before I was born. I was born in England but all my ancestors were Irish. I'm 100% DNA Irish. This music reminds me of my granddad even though I've never seen a photograph of him but I know about his life.😢
