Buick creates amazing concept cars. Ironically, their production cars are about as exciting as a glass of warm milk.

Man I've never appreciated a Buick until right now 😃. That's beautiful and a 400hp twin turbo V6 is the perfect amount of power without it trying to be obnoxious. This has "dream car" written all over it 😁. Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍
A "dream car" is all this 1-only concept car from years ago, built on the Camaro platform, was ever intended to be.
It’s funny in todays production automotive world we can consider 400 hp “not” obnoxious with GM producing 700hp engines….nice car Buick 👍🏻

My Dad brought home a new 1957 Special Convertible, and with the exception of the 1963 Buick Rivera, there has never been another Buick to make it to production.
If you won't bring it to market, why waste the youngsters talent on useless prototypes? For Christ's Sake build this thing and I'll buy two.

@2:18 "No line is there just for styling purposes" But every line that's there is styled. Breathtaking design throughout. In a long era where form must follow function it is seemingly very difficult to create distinctive styles. Buick has done that. Lots of power with rear wheel drive,Yeah Baby!

I have loved Buick's concept cars for many years yet, in my opinion, they have not yet delivered the promise of the concept to the market. I think this design is awesome and despite my growing appreciation for electric drive I truly hope the company can bring the 400 HP turbocharged six-cylinder to buyers like me.
No offense but this design that I find so attractive is reminiscent of some if the recent work from Mazda. That works for me because I find their exterior esthetics to be top-notch.
Great design - never owed a Buick - this definitely would change the choice one would make in next purchase - job well done for the Buick concept developers - I would buy one for my wife - this would enhance her love of life and true beauty of freedom.

My first BUICK was a 1973 Buick Regal with vinyl top. Yellow exterior with dark brown top.
It was gorgeous and one of the finest cars on the market, just sheer class in a sporty way.
I haven’t had a coupe since then but this I think will bring me back in the fold. Great design.

This is an Opel. They're even too effing lazy to replace the Opel grille with the Buick waterfall grille. I see an Opel Monza II. This is a lot of things but it is not a genuine Buick.

Opel is Buick they had to veil their involvement with Germany during ww2.
The Buick Avista concept is where the Mercedes-Benz CL Class C216 2008 - 2014 should have gone. The S-Class coupe while a tour the force of every screen gadget out there, lost some of the sleek design appeal. This is a worthy successor, and something nice to look against the Genesis Coupe. Nice times ahead.
Never thought I'd be lusting after a Buick but here we are. It's classy but also pretty sexy.

I've owned 5 Buick Rivieras from 1964, 1968, 1984, 1987 and 1997. At some point Buick lost its way and
now seems to only know how to build unremarkable SUVs. Don't hold your breath waiting for this.

I have been waiting for this car to come into production since it's first debut, but GM insisted it would never be put into the public market. I loved my '97 supercharged Riviera, and this Avista takes it to the next level. I wrote GM a few years ago, stating it is a mistake to not produce the Avista, and that I would buy one immediately. I currently drive a Lacrosse, and it has been an extremely well made, quality car, but I have room for the Avista!

THis is AMAZING-= They fought the wave of anti chrome, and instead made it "pop" by no black (always dirty ) wheels and using Chrome trim to make the car "pop"

I’ve owned two Buick lasabras. Lol 1998 and now a 2002. 3800 motor . It deterred homeless people from asking me for money. Comfy, girl friend hates it. High rollin in a Buick. I like the avista
You could tweak the grill shape just a little and rebadge this car as an Aston Martin and people would believe that’s what it is, it is that gorgeous.
Looks good, last interesting car they had was the sport back but this really looks like a good successor with actual power to back up the look. Reminds of of the new tlx from the back and the old Mercedes SLK in the front.
I will buy one if they keep the design the way it is but as we know they will change production model

Buick is the only GM brand I have owned. Still my preferred GM brand. Avista is beautiful. I don't think the grill is up to date with the rest of the car.....subjective opinion. With the transition to battery driven I doubt I would buy it at this time. Perhaps if a hybrid or EV it would be one to consider. Still a gorgeous car.

Don't hold your breath, at all. This concept car is strictly for "what if?" purposes. There's no way in hell this car will ever be produced. Not in this market or frankly the market of the past 40 years of 4 door sedans, SUV's, trucks and crossovers. A pillarless 2 door coupe?? No way in hell. Even if they could, this car would be (just guessing) $150k, minimum. Just be grateful you can enjoy this video, and leave it at that.

I am a Ford guy, but it is like a clear water breaking wave., I have the Tarus SHO, 360 HP AWD, and it so spoils , so Buick fans, THIS IS A RACE CAR.
