Hi guys! ) I live in Irkutsk and I am fond of traveling especially to the lake Baikal. I was there countless times in different places. If you are in Irkutsk or if you you are going to visit Irkutsk, write me, I will be glad to show you our places.))

Oh my...I schooled in Irkutsk and graduated about 2 years ago. I really miss the city, miss walking on the frozen lake and visiting baikal. I was searching on youtube for videos I can reminisce on
It isn't Lake "Bagel". It's Lake ByeCOLL..Further, even if you don't count the fresh water ice caps, there is massively more fresh water in ground water aquifers than in lakes and rivers. Bakal's total fresh water is about 1.4% and that is pretty high .
@@anotherpewtertahoe it is correct, lake Baikal is sooo terrifyingly deep, it's unbelievable, that too for a freshwater lake. There isn't much freshwater on earth apart from rivers and the freshwater lakes that we have. Canada has most numbers of lake, in fact more than every other countries combined, but none of it's lakes are anywhere close to the depth of Baikal. But total volume of water all lakes combined can be 20%. Rest are in other parts of the world where are most rivers.

If you're going to do a video of facts about something, at least try to pronounce it properly
This is why the USA wants to surround Russia by NATO soldier. Most of the Russian land is unexploited.
