I hope other potential malibu dolls in this line keep her with the pink aesthetic, it just works so well! it gives life in the dream house meets ever after high and I love it so much!
I definitely see the resemblance to Ever After High with the faces on the Barbie Dream Besties line! My personal favorite doll in the line is Renee because I love her hair, her clothes, and her use of the color purple in her design. I can also picture her clothes being amazing for restyles for my Shadow High dolls as well!🖤💜
Omaigosh !❤ Me personally think that she looks very beautiful, cute, captivating & looks very girly! She is very beautiful among the other dolls 😍😍😍 to be honest you will not regret having her in your many collections. The bright color, the makeup louge that matches the look of the wear, the type of hair that is also very elegant from every angle, this Malibu is definitely worth it and perfect to collect! the accessories she has are also the best ❤❤🎉🎉🎉

I would love to see an Ever After High doll review or tour of your dolls! I know more about Monster High than Ever After High 😊 I’ve only gotten Barbie Malibu so far, but my 4 year old is in love with her! Her accessories are so cute and the play time is endless 🩷 mine had a bit of gel throughout the length of her hair so she got a spa day and there was a bit of shedding but nothing too bad 👍 Love that her outfit are separate pieces!! 👏

I was given Malibu for my birthday yesterday. I was so excited because I was waiting for the Dream Besties to come out for months and then couldn't buy one because I just moved and it cleaned out my doll and fun fund. When I unboxed her I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and overall cute fashion. If this is the direction Barbie is going for now, I'm all for it. Worth the wait. Malibu does resemble Apple White but she definitely has her own style and energy.

I took a Barbie mini head & put it on an EAH body from Aliexpress. I then used the mini body for a vintage Tutti doll. I'm wondering how their body and feet compared to the original ever after high dolls.

wow, you’re the first person I’ve seen comparing EAH with the new Besties. I always thought they were a mix of EAH and My Scene, but since I see a lot of comparisons with other brands and Barbies, I assumed they were more of Mattel’s version of Rainbow High. However, now that I see Barbie side-by-side with Apple, it’s obvious that they are, at the very least, inspired by EAH.
She is so pretty. And I agree with the gloves. I think I'd want to bling her outfit up with some nail art rhinestones, especially those shoes. Do they actually fit ILY outfits? Especially Renee would look awesome in some ILY stuff, I think. Plus I hope they continue with the Dream Besties. That face with pale skin, red hair, freckles and Apple Whites hairstyle/ curling pattern in a mint or emerald green dress? Yes please ❤

I would like to thank you for releasing a video of this new doll series, in which you can see their head circumference exactly, that they have the same head size as the "ever after high dolls". Thank you very much for that. Personally, I don't like it when you can't combine the dolls with other dolls outside of this series or take photos together because they are too different in size.

I have a few I got thrifting before the prices went through the roof, when I got interested it was when they were on the way out, and hard to find first-hand. I am so excited...

i used to have most of the ever after high dolls but sold them a few years ago on ebay😊 i still have all my monster high female g1 dolls though i’d never sell them.,I too fell in love with this barbie doll after seeing the prototype pictures i havn’t been excited by a barbie design since the extra fly series so shall get her if she gets reduced.
I'm excited for these dolls to show up in my stores. From the moment they were leaked I knew something was up, it's not uncommon form Mattel or any company to use leftover assets to create a new line, it was done in the past for the g1 monster high dolls (the original prototypes were old my scene dolls and accessories and it would have saved Mattel time and money we unfortunately will never get an ever after high reboot as long as Mattel has the Disney license while they did quietly renew the license for ever after high, it was merely a regular occurrence so that no other company can use the names likeness etc, Mattel has stepped up their game for their descendants dolls, were the outfits and other items the greatest quality no, but is it better quality than what we have gotten before the movie last year absolutely yes, they're trying but still have a way to go before we get that old quality we were used to

Wish Mattell would stop releasing so many dolls and give us more fashions and shoes. If they came out with outfits like Disney ILY quality, I would be buying them. Many doll collectors are going to private doll clothes makers for a reason .
The hair texture of the Malibu Barbie is hmm strange. I bought her today because I love her face and hot pink color scheme. However, after washing her hair the hair feels dry and almost like a higher quality of poly. Definitely mixed feelings when it comes to her hair. Great video as always!
@@perfumedelight66 no. EAH has much bigger feet. Dream besties feed are closer to size and shape of OMG dolls. Not sure if they can fit. OMG shoes or not though, my OMG dolls are in storage so I can't check just yet.
@@ChadMarvelous A good way to tell whether it is Saran or Poly is to boil wash her hair. Her hair is crimped so if it is Saran hair like you state it is, the hair will boil and become totally straight because Saran is easy to reset styles. Malibu's hair is Poly. I boil washed her hair and it still kept the crimps in for the most part even after 2 more attempts at boil washing. With poly hair, the style the doll comes with is pretty much the style your stuck with. I think Malibu has a gorgeous face though, thank you for showing the comparison between her and ever after high, I thought I was the only one who saw it haha

Some ILY clothes do fit! Not the shoes though. So far, I’ve found that Rainbow Jr High, FailFix and LUV shoes all fit okay 😊
