When I was younger I lived in Shanghai and Beijing until I was 8. My mom used to go to the ghost markets they had in Beijing and accumulated a lot of antique furniture that we brought back. I have always loved those pieces and always had a desire to reproduce some of them or make pieces inspired by it. I am so glad that I have found your channel because you show a lot of the techniques that I need to learn to reproduce the furniture I want to. I only wish there was English translations so that I can understand what wisdom you have to impart (especially on laying out and making the three-way miter joints). I'm rather disappointed in myself that I lost my ability to understand a lot of Chinese. Thank you for your time and care in making the channel! I thoroughly enjoy watching it! And while I cannot understand too much Mandarin I enjoy hearing you speak it because it reminds me of my past.

做些更實用家具使普遍化，如瑞典宜家的家具，以中國人的木工結構絶對比歐日的好又堅固，但他們的家具五金卻實漂亮好用

传统家具，我个人很欣赏它所使用的技艺。但实用与人性化来说我个人更欣赏宜家的设计。楼上的回复大概也是和我一样吧。。
