@@jackendean5368 Hes way to attack minded which is why he struggled so much in a double pivot. He was probably camping for a counter attack hes football IQ is not the best so he cant read when to cover back so he shouldnt be played in that position.

This has ABSOLUTELY changed the way I feel about McTominay. Have to say. The sort of mentality he has is EXACTLY what's need throughout the squad. He'll give his all because he's just an honest hardworking professional.
Lad gets far too much hate from the "fanbase" in my opinion.
We use to bring academy players in under true leaders, something that we havent had in a decade.
it's goldbridge. i hate that guy. he drives so much hate towards players based on his opinion. it's not like mctominay is ever first choice, and most fans don't have that expectation, but whilst united have struggled finding replacements for carrick and scholes since they left, it's players like him that have kept united going. as a bench player, there's absolutely nothing wrong with what he's done for the club. look how many goals he's scored this season.

1:20 onwards is exactly why Scott plays and some obvious names don't at times. Reminds me of the Arsenal All or Nothing documentary where Lokonga was complaining about not getting minutes to players like Nketiah, who told him, it's not only about him. Everyone wants to play, thats why you have to prove yourself daily, and from what I can tell most managers see that McTominay does this.
Even though recently results have been shakey I fully believe Ten Hagg will be successful here. Always been a big fan of Scott and fully believe he'll start to mature into a great midfielder.

He may be a fairly limited player, but McTominay has always shown a great attitude that many United players should learn from.
Good lad. Keeps his head up, supports his teammates whether he's starting or not, and does what is asked of him and more. Never understood the "McTominay" out when West Ham came in with an offer, glad he stayed.
I get him. Man utd has been in a standard where City, Liverpool and other top club's average performance is considered good performance. His a victim to the standards set by the Man utd in previous years before ETH. I don't get why most Utd fans don't understand the psychological aspects of that. Scott is pushed to leave his comfort zone and he's mind and body is adjusting to ETH hence he said its hard. One of the few United players I wouldn't sell. Rashford, gone, Martial, Sancho, etc gone. Even Bruno, though not on performances necessarily, just a bit stale. McT may not be a wold beater atm, I'd love to see him with 10 players around him that share his mentality and love for the badge. The idea of putting better players around him so he can thrive. Would like to see him as a 10 or aggressive 8 behind Mount, not a 6

Scott McTominay is a youth striker that was coached to play midfield by people who don't know how to coach. The sooner he goes back to ST, the better. He still has the movement and feel for space in the box.

He is exactly the type of player Mourinho used to win trophies with at Chelsea and Inter. Not super talented but knew how to play dirty, commit a foul at half line to avoid opposition build up, and score an odd header once every 5 games to get the 3 points when superstar attackers fail to do their job.

fans who don’t want McTominay in the squad are the dumbest who don’t even watch the games. Literally one of the best squad players you can have coming off the bench or starting against bigger more physical teams. Always in the right position to score needs a little work defensively but that’s all. Rarely do you see him make a mistake.
