do not disconnect the speed sensors all that will do is give you a ABS fault and lock your back brakes in an emergency (which isnt good)
Jade Akkawi If a wheel speed sensor is disconnected the ABS module cannot tell how fast the wheel is or isnt spinning, so it doesnt know whether it is locked up or not, so it throws the ABS light on, there are other reasons for an ABS light to come on but this is a very common problem too.
Jade Akkawi not necessarily, if it reads the voltages off the abs sensors then why would it not use them? it uses that it has, it has to for safety reasons

this is not a cheat mod even related to emission what so ever its desable the traction control for having bot wheel to have traction in the same time whe use that to are car in canada for winter wen we get stuck in the snow look buy your self try to do a burn out on dry asphalt and you wil problie se a lost of power on one wheel and try doing a burn out with tractio control light on your 2 wheel will spin in tha same time

all that has done is turned off traction control which can be done through the menu settings. why you would want to disconnect the speed sensors is beyond me.
What was deactivated was the ESC off completly, if you want to have that off permanently while driving, you have to disconnect the speed sensor on the rear wheels otherwise it will turn automaticly the ESC on when you start driving. What are you saying is the esc sport mode or asr witch is not all the ESC system.
And turn off every single assistance system, including ABS... great.

And come into a situation were you accidentally lock your brakes and crash.
xXYannuschXx thats why not just anyone should do it, only those who have some skill at braking control, but sometimes it happens to the best of drivers where they lock up into a corner, moral is sometimes, shit just happens.

Two things, there is a button for that in these cars.
There isn't a "cheat mode on" light.

Yes there is a button to turn it on and off...if I'm not mistaken that's a mk6 golf.i have the same car and the button is where the ash tray is.

In Jetta, there is no button for turning off the ESP. this is the only way

Unpopular opinion: i wish bolkswagon never got caught. The epa emmisions bs is causing way more harm then good. Now volkswagon doesnt make awsome diesels that are infinitely more efficient/not as polluting. I mean cmon vw made a diesel full size car that got like 140mpg. Where would they be now??

You said at the start vw cheated the emissions but that is just a traction light that comes on when there is no reading of the wheel or speed sensor nothing to do with emissions or a cheat mode instead its just a fault code and by pressing the gas 5 timed does not bring up that light what a waste of time
